Man, let’s start from the beginning. *Deacon Frost is supposed to be an elderly, statesman white haired vampire...not a punk. *With the exception of the drab, uninspired colors, Magneto and company were rendered close to the comics. *Willem DaFoe’s facial features had the makings of a perfect Green Goblin; he even got the iconic crouch down...but we were rewarded with a deranged tin man instead. *Bullseye said outright he wanted “a bloody costume”. Hopeful fans got a false expectation. *We got a decent Absorbing Man...but no Crusher Creel, who is just as menacing. *Corman’s Doctor Doom was the only faithful adaptation. *Dr. Octopus cannot take punches, he’s an extreme narcissist and it’s beneath him to rob banks. Got the look right. *Ultron has a God complex. He doesn’t have a mouth, and if he did it wouldn’t offer apologies. *Loki and The Destroyer were done well. *The look of Sandman and Venom were good. *Ego isn’t evil, neither were The High Evolutionary or Ronin. One’s a scientist and the other a galactic Kree judge. Definite betrayal of character. *Red Skull was done right. *Abomination is scaly gray, and amphibious. *Iron Monger was good. *Whiplash was decent, but an amalgamation of two characters. *Arnim Zola would have been the most visually interesting villain had he not been reduced to a computer monitor. *If you can’t go full Blackheart, don’t do it at all. *Hela is a subterranean queen, NOT an invincible warrior. Her look and Surtur’s was spot on. *Dormammu has human characteristics. He has a form...not just a face. *The Mandarin eventually played out well...but against the wrong hero. *Carnage looked good, but the writers didn’t have the decency to have Venom take him out in his own movie. *Second incarnation of Juggernaut was very good. *Grand Master was played as a joke. *Zemo was just a complete nobody with a chip on his soldier, didn’t even bother with a costume. *Lizard, Vulture and Mysterio were handled extremely well. Decent Electro and I think I would have warmed up to The Rhino. *Good Kingpin despite the obvious. ...and yes...Taskmaster insulting. Definitely more misses than hits...but they should have all been hits.

I think Tony Stark was suppose to be the Uncle Ben Hence the movie start with "I miss him" So Tony Stark serve to be the regret and motivation along with Aunt may which to a degree barely hold any weight as in the audience head Aunt May is suppose be alive as a guide

Feel like you could have swapped ghost and taskmasters places on this list. Granted, i dont know much about either character, but MCU ghost is at least a compelling character (you know, up until the end where she gets a murder boner instead of waiting literally TWO MINUTES for the plot to resolve itself), MCU taskmaster is a completely tasteless character that serves no purpose other than to be the villain's dragon (a paper dragon i might add) alongside the fact that they were no more than trailerbait

In a lot of ways, the MCU as gone terribly wrong. This list is just the start. Darn near unforgivable. Flag Smasher and Mandarin and the others just freaking disasters. The Hawkeye series was just insulting.

Honestly, I’m surprised Ultron wasn’t on here. For me, I grew up with the Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow Ultron as a basis. Cold, calculating, relentless, merciless, and efficient. His chassis was smooth, durable, and unremarkable. But the MCU made him this weird philosopher with a completely overdesigned look, where he has the intelligence to make his own decisions, opinions, and emotions even, but still follows a program. Like, he’s kinda just a brainwashed lab grown human at that point

Marvel usually gets the casting right but in this situation, they have missed on every one of the heroes, making Joe, Wiccan not only the worst casting in recent memory but it's almost insulting just because he was in Heartstopper and gay, really? there are so many other actors that are way better suited to play him gay or not. I know this comes across as shade to Joe but it's not meant to be it's more about the laziness of Marvel and their repeated missteps when it comes to "woke" culture.

I just realized that the MCU can create original female characters but hate the fans so recast major male characters as women with nothing similar to them and end up creating original characters

While I don't disagree, Hercules was teased 2 years ago. Adam Warlock took one phase and 6 years to show him in action. If 2 years is too long, then I don't know what to tell you. And although they have made too many open ended storylines in their post credit scenes, it's still valid to keep some on hold, if it means it all ties in by the end. I'm letting them cook.

Taskmaster was just kind of generic and making her turn out to be Dreykov's daughter felt like a twist for the sake of a twist and added nothing to the narrative. Like if it were me I'd say yes the bomb killed him and now Antonia is the one to run the red room spurred on by anti western sentiment cuz ya'know the US government tried to blow up her and her dad like a fucking Wile E. Coyote cartoon. I mean yeah have her confront Natasha and give her some speech "All around the world little girls look up to you. But we both know the truth." Or something. As for Taskmaster hell replace him with The Winter Guard.

The worst adaptation in MCU bar none is Namor. Namor is a Caucasian/Atlantis hybrid who looked like Spock 25 years before Star Trek. If you want to make a Superhero then you should be true to Source material . You would not make a Black Panther with Brad Pitt as T'Challa, or a FF movie where Dwayne Johnson played the whole movie as the Thing, but looking like he does as in Real life. You would never cast Danny Devito as Wyatt Wingfoot. You do not make Namor, one of Marvel's most Iconic character going back to their Timely days, looking like a Bizarre looking Hispanic, instead of a tall muscular Spock like Caucasian. I am so upset at what they did to Namor, I will not watch another MCU movie ever.
