Earth Day 2022
มุมมอง 1062 ปีที่แล้ว
Everyone has a role in protecting our planet. One of the leading causes of climate change is an abundance of carbon dioxide that comes from the burning of fossil fuels for energy. Investing in renewable energy can reduce the planet's carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global warming and climate change.

    Hey I live in Campbell County ,VA I'm under a option agreement with a company currently I will find out in the next few months if they are going to follow through on the contract. Scene I signed the option agreement I've had two more solar companies contact me. What are the odds of the solar company backing out? Thanks

      Many solar projects are experiencing much longer development timelines than in the past due to interconnection delays beyond their control. While there are projects that may not get built for a variety of reasons, if they have reached key development milestones (local zoning approval, state permit in hand, etc.) the likelihood of that happening is significantly lessened. We suggest you reach out to your developer and inquire as to the status of the project!

    I want acreage in florida!!!!! Who is selling ???? 100acre parcels + are preferred up to 1,000 acres !!! Ill buy it just so they can't contaminate our farm land with lead from these solar panels!!!! Looking for a homestead

  • @nataliesmylove7488

    Oh so we don't need farms!!!! Who needs to eat !!! Not to mention that as solar panels degrade, they leach lead into the land !!!!!

    I notice you didn't mention the fact that solar panels contain Cadmium Telluride. There's absolutely NO guarantee that won't leak into the land and ground water. Cadmium causes cancer and I have ZERO trust in any Solar Company's "assurance " that they're safe.

      Getting paid a steady income from your land for it being used in a way that doesn't necessarily prevent you from growing certain crops under the installation. Seems way more valuable than any aesthetic quality to me.

    • @jaebee9308

      @@garethbaus5471 ???? You won't be allowed to grow ANYTHING under thier solar panels. That would violate the lease. Even if you could- how the eff would you get farm equipment in and around those arrays?!!

    • @garethbaus5471
      @garethbaus5471 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaebee9308 it is extremely situationally dependant, but some lease agreements and solar installations do allow for the production of certain crops such as no light products like mushrooms or forced rhubarb. Most solar installations don't even block all the light due to spacing needs for maintenance allowing for the use of the land for livestock or high value shade tolerant crops like cruciferous vegetables or strawberry's. If you can't grow anything under a solar farm you either didn't get a good deal with the solar company or aren't creative enough.

    • @jaebee9308
      @jaebee9308 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@garethbaus5471 Aaah. Gotcha. Ok. Well the solar co we're dealing with is gonna kill all the grass under the array so they don't have to pay to maintain it. 🙄 They've also admitted that animals, birds and insects are a fire hazard at solar installations. So much for the claims coming from some solar companies that they can graze sheep among the panels. Oh! And the panels leak toxins when they are damaged so, I wouldn't eat anything grown under them. Yikes.

    Hi, river's not being subject to foreign supplier is been tested now, if you exam Egypt. Their dam power will be reduced when the new dam is introduced. Also climate change could and has effected river flows.

    Global Report to The President during the Carter era (read its' synopsis or entire Report at any 4 year University as included in its Federal Repository) was a MAJOR research effort outlining our entrance into a "pre-borneal weather era" with CO2 having an impact but NOT causative. Greenland was never called greenland due to ice, but due to green LAND. Stop CO2 production, the climate still changes while China is exempt from greenhouse gas emissions due to 'emerging economy' status, which is simply a way to rob others while continuing on the same path. Dust Bowl in the '30s caused by NO RAIN? NO! Yet today would be claimed as 'global warming'' despite minor CO2 contribution to the environment 1800-1930. A planet orbiting a star is guaranteed EXACTLY the same climate century to century? I dunno that is a rational position.
