This is cute, but if you liked this concept you should totally try out "Wild City"! It's a roguelike with lots of animals interacting with each other but has a grid and tile placement mechanics

Based on the map size looks like this will be a pretty big game in the full version! I like the hand painted greenery. Nice video and commentary.

If you never found the chest of items you were given - it was right next to your house. On the right hand side, next to the workbench.

The game could definitely do with a bit more instruction, like saying about needing to pick 3 good and 3 bad "perks" for the week, and that each day changes which one is active, I like the idea of it though

Thanks for playing! You can also shoot with motordoom by pressing/holding R1. You can aim and slow down time with any character by holding L1

Dev here, thank you for trying it out. It really helps point out some blind spots. Some things that I will work on asap: - making the panels larger ( btw what resolution did you play on?) - improving the onboarding experience. The game is turn based and the status' show what the employee worked on since the last turn. I need to do a better job to show that the >> button is to move forward to the next turn. I really enjoyed your commentary, exactly the type of stories I was aiming for.

In Level 9, "Meowton's Cradle", I tried hinting in the description as well as in the title. It referenced Newton's cradle and conservation of momentum, so basically transferring the force into another ball. Key mechanic to learn for the later puzzles. I was rooting for you and pointing at the screen and you got there eventually! :D

Maybe it will interest you that after seeing your video I decided to swap place ingame with another starter deck as it is clear that if you started playing the game with the Orcs deck as first experience the game feels... stupid? The gameplay twist about Orc is that you have no time to collect resources since they destroy the enemy quite easily... a convoluted twist one can't really get at their first game... anyway, if it pleases you that your video finally convinced me that this change was needed, here it is! :D

LordOvLoot, I liked this video because it's awesome!

The game is a lot more interesting on the mainland: 1) I suggest only doing the bare minimum on Valinor if you wish to take advantage of the low level for exp pool questing. The 'kings' of each starting city gives out repeatable hunting quest which earns chunks of EXP, and the lower your level the easier the mobs they pick to be. After lv50, the benefit drops off the cliff and becomes 25k exp instead of 100~150k exp. Doing quests that gives the wolf pup totem, and backpacks is useful, but 'tutorial' armor isn't a big deal until lv25-40, as you wear anything to give you stat points. Movement speed is a huge plus, so looking up how to get boots of the traveller (quest item), or hunt wasps for the beekeeper boots (+2 movement) would help you progress much easier when travelling long distances. 2) F2P players can enable auto-loot, just create a party. 3) Be very careful where you distribute your stat orbs (STR/DEX/INT/CON) as this can limit what you can equip in the later parts of the game beyond lv50+... Not all gear are equal at their respective levels, like the 'holy' and 'black' armor set was modified by the devs to be better performing overall against most lv50~70 gear, in terms of stat benefits and AC points they give. There is a lv51 armor that requires 40 str and dex to equip that is just slightly better, but can mess up some people's choices. 4) The mainland has shops that offers far more gear you can find, and players share random loot on the Legend server in barrels outside of Silvest (human starter city) to donate as gold isn't a issue for most players. 5) Since they created new housing instances for their large city maps (Parian & Josody) there are vendor there that sells goods for cheap that is otherwise expensive on the mainland (I found a vendor that sells 24 slot storage crates for 1.5k gold instead of the traditional npc that takes 50k gold in Parian).
