Yes ofc it’s convenient, but guess what it’s still dangerous. I’d rather pull something outa my wallet. People will probably let the government control everything in a few generations
Technology will probably take over eventually, I agree with you.

😂😂😂
This is how our forefathers farmed. The common sense ecological way. Big FARMa - seed and fertilizer corps. have destroyed it because of their greed and corruption.
Luckely we have people who iare changing this and re-educating people.

That is a nice sentiment, but the further you go north, the more impractical this is. I have 8.5kw solar array on my house in Michigan. during the winter I get around 10kwh per day from that array due to the short day and over cast skies. Which means solar isn't going to work. Sure, part of my electricity comes from nuclear, but due to all the environmental nut jobs, we can't get more nuclear. So I will continue to heat my house with dino farts.
Thanks for your comment
Just live off the grid. Problem solved.
It is easier said then done today
@AnHourOfInnovation Same argument can be made for every single other environmentally friendly option.
Cool how propably so many more things will happen with this planet
Yes, it is a living planet, so many changes throughout history
Talk about Climate Change!
Yes!
Super cool, thanks for sharing! Love it Reminds me of a Jimmy Cliff song. Oh-oh, we all are one, we are the same person I'll be you (Oh, yeah), you'll be me We all are one, same universal world I'll be you, you'll be me No matter where we are born, we are human beings The same chemistry With emotions and feelings, all corresponding in love Compatible You can't get around it, no matter how hard you try You better believe it And if you should find out that you are no different than I
Thank you! There is a whole episode with Dr. Porder, if you'd like to watch it.

The amount of times Ive been part of a team on the floor and either management doesnt see you as capable or intelligent enough to solve the problem because youre only a box packer or you arent allowed to talk to management because middle management says you need to know your place.
This is very bad from the company’s management. Unfortunatelly, there are many managers like that
Reminds me of noble prize syndrome. People who are smart can convince themselves they’d never believe something dumb but thats just because their sense of scale is getting messed with. Stuff they think is really smart can sometimes only be kinda smart
True!
Innovation challenges without monetary lump sum rewards will get you ideas a 10 years old will give you. Innovator myself, I'll not give the company ideas worth thousands if I'll only get a slap on the back. And If I see someone else get shafted for his idea, I will never step forward.
Thanks for sharing!

I'm not sure I agree with that. Cooking was one of the major factors for our evolution. Cooking made it easier for us to digest allowing our brains to grow larger. The reason were more advanced is because of language complex language and writing. This allowed us tp pass knowledge to our decedents without changes. We are litterly growing on the minds of giants. Eistiern and the other early scitists without writing without our cooking we sure woulnd't be doing all we are currently doing. It's also why many people believe there was another civilization just like ours that was wiped out. It's not inconceivable to think that if we go extinct the other primates may follow a similar path and by then the Earth will have eaten and covered up any other civilization.
For sure diverse diet was a big help in helping humans outperform all other animals
Now if only we could make GOOD stories again instead of destroying Storytelling through Postmodernism.

Great discussion. I enjoyed emphasizing the importance of execution in product management, stressing that effective strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and prioritization are key to success. The highlights for me are the need to balance customer needs with business goals, managing technical debt, and staying updated on AI trends while continuously learning and innovating.
Thank you!

Remember when people told truckers learn to code? Now coders need to learn to weld lmao
Why are we allowing AI to slowly and subtlety remove us from our jobs...the more responsibility we give and give and give to AI, eventually, what role will humans be needed for to complete a task? Especially as robotics improves... Think for ourselves.
In general I agree, but certain tasks should be offloaded to AI and robots, so that humans have better things to do. Just like robots took over a lot of manual labor in factories for the last 80 years or so. Also, humans should be spending more energy on ideas and intellectual work, and let robots and AI do the manual tasks that are repetative and bored. This is just my personal opinion.
@@AnHourOfInnovation That is exactly where the slippery slope begins (or an avalanche) i.e. allow AI to step in here, to step in there, to complete this task that task, very slowly step by step we will push ourselves right out of the work force as companies will see how much cheaper and more efficient AI can operate compared to that of humans, and before we know it, humans will be living lives primarily from their homes and dependent on AI to bring them their goods for survival

The whole cost is that demand for knowledgeable administrators falls, leading to fewer new administrators, leading to no alternatives when the cloud providers finally realise their customers now have no choice to to swallow huge price increases. In the intermediate time, the true cost is that a company transitions away from administrators competent in general computing, to expensive people who know all the arcana of cloud provider X's APIs - in the process becoming little more than glorified in-house sales reps and another source of lock in.
So you need monads, no?

I think Dr Caitlin means "comfortable", not "safe". However, if she does mean safe, then there's another, MUCH more serious issue with her communications that she NOT telling us.
