Thank you very much and welcome to the carnivore clan!☺️ Azura and myself are mostly together, but with random spawns locations it has been more challenging to find each other. We usually try to group by waterfall at South, where many ppl roam. Sadly, we don’t always make it to adult in the first try but key is to not give up. Unfortunately, AIs are a rare sight nowadays so starving is sadly an issue. But since carno isn’t a cannibal atm you should be able to find and group with others. We are mostly Omnis since that’s our main. So mostly I recommend going to locations like south and highlands where you can find others but do stay lowkey so you can survive, scavenge as most as you can. On another note, it would be good for you to visit the Norden server where you can become a free admin and practice fighting with others. Oh wow😱 I think their reaction time is just too slow. Sadly The Isle sometimes go into extremes, before they were too quick on their feet that a solo Maia would kill everything. We were content they got nerfed so they aren’t overpowered, but a herd should hold their own now, but unfortunately that isn’t the case. Hopefully they get to a good place in the middle, we have to wait for now. Tbh, they also have so many attacks that players are still learning them and are slow to fight. No matter the underlying issue, still needs skillful players to tackle them, especially in herds, so great job Gojira!!! You have always been a great player and we could see that in our practices 🤗

i do think the acceleration was good enought nerf,the stam usage of most attacks is a little exagerated

@ I’m gonna have to disagree with you on the acceleration. Take deino for example, or stego, they both take no time to accelerate. So why should an animal half their size take 10 seconds to get to full speed?

They kinda made Mia a walking lunchbox for anything agile, like they said they wouldn’t.

@@ReaperGaming110 to be honest before the nerf Maia was a bully and since it could outrun anything Maia would try to literally kill you and if it was threatened enough by the opponent it would have escaped quickly and come back to finish the job. It was way too agile on its feet which they used to bully everyone. Now to be fair, I think the nerf is a bit much as far as stamina usage, but I think the devs will alter it a bit more once they get enough feedback. As it stands now to me it’s in a good place since it’s strong enough to push people and run away on its own. But it’s truly suppose to be in a group to be life threatening. On its own it’s easy lunch if it stands to fight. Anyways I am sure this is not going to be the last changes we will see for it.

In this case they just made them somewhat kind of unique in the sense that if you get infected you have the chance to find and infect others in a limited time until you drop dead. You are just a dead dinosaur walking😆

@@caramelmintz4213 I wouldn’t suggest to attack 2 carnos if you can avoid it. The ram ability with the fact they barely use stamina makes them way too deadly and with dilo would be hard to escape since they aren’t as agile. With Omnis you have more chance to bleed them and escape. It also truly depends on the player skill. Some carno player are terrible (like me once upon a time lol) and if you are able to get plenty of bites to have the venom work the rest out it’s good, but chances is with a second carno might not be possible. Rowan and I can test it for you as well if you like. We will have to wait until hurricane milton passes. We are getting ready for it as we are right by its path. Wish us luck!

@caramelmintz4213 thank you! The reason I didn’t pounce it is because it would use too much stamina and would leave me helpless later. I tried doing bites and keeping close the carno to avoid its ram. Since carno ram barely uses stamina(if any) they all basically ram you down. It’s up to the Omni to have enough stamina to keep it bleeding and moving enough for it to bleed itself out trying to catch you or from the bites. It was an initial strategy. Now I need to perfect it with Rowan without biting each other down trying to bite the carno 😅

@@caramelmintz4213 btw I confused you and talked about dilos since someone mentioned making a dilos vs carno fight and I thought this was the same msg thread. My apologies. In my opinion 2 Omnis vs 2 carnos would be unfair but it’s allá about player skill again. If two op Omnis maybe follow one carno each and avoid the ram maybe there is a chance. Unless you have an entire pack of Omnis pouncing offers little help since your stamina would deplete faster than carnos leaving you helpless so I guess this strategy would maybe work if Omnis are good. After the hurricane will have Rowan practice this strategy with me vs 1 and 2 carnos(if we can find 2) and where the results 😊

@@keynadaby for real!! Carno and Diablo hitbox is terrible atm and thus this is why we try to find new ways to tackle those opponents. Hopefully hitbox is fixed, the rest is simply adapt. Would love to fight dilos. Let me see if we can find a dilo pair that would like to PvP us tonight since 2 Omnis vs 1 dilo is not fair. If not will try on my own and show you. @@keynadaby well I guess I am not the best one to provide feedback since we are Omni mains, that being said best way to tackle carno as dilo might be follow it (dilo is faster than Omni) and get bites on it without letting it get too much distance from you so he can’t ram you. Kind of same as Omni but problem is dilo isn’t as agile as Omni so turning around to follow the carno might be an issue. Pretty hard as solo dilo. 2 dilos however may tip the scales since carno cannot focus on one, giving more chances of bites landing to carno. I would have to try it with Rowan as dilos and find a carno opponent to see if I can put these thoughts into action. Promise I will try it and let you know once I have it out with the link :)

We actually have big plans for upcoming videos but we have our hands tied since the replay system is not working since the new update and we do need it for our cinematic films. In the mean time we will be delivering more frequent PvP videos as we practice all the new changes. But yes, big things are coming!!! Can’t wait to share. You’re absolutely right-that’s the best approach when dealing as a pack. I’ve been trying the solo strategy, which really comes down to conserving stamina and staying close enough to avoid getting rammed. It’s the only viable tactic for now, but it’s definitely risky since you have to be quick on your feet to dodge the bites when the Carno turns. We’ve been experimenting with new ways to fight it, especially with its new ram ability and hitbox issues. This was just our initial strategy, mostly tailored for solo Omnis, but we’ll also showcase how to take it down as an Omni pair soon. Appreciate the comment!

You are right but honestly due to the wide terrible hitbox the diablo has now it’s very dangerous to have only one fighting it while the other one rest. We like to keep biting it until we can pounce it or bite it to death. It’s true it takes much longer but we do hate the sitting game since regaining stam takes forever. But will take your advice and try it. Who know it might just be what we need to do. Thanks again for the con event and tip 😊

We would love to make a story once the game is public and everyone has access to it. Right now there is barely anyone playing due to it only being early access. I was the only player when I was doing this video. Once servers are full we will be able to interact with the world and make stories😄
