      No, we are saying he genuinely gave up in this time, his pulling from his divine nature. There are multiple interpretations of this passage, another points out the Greek word know means to tell sometimes. The New Testament and Jesus' words in it have extremely clear proclamations of him being God, if you think a select few ambiguous verses are contradicting that, you are reading into the text with hope your point prevails in the exception where you can interpret unnecessarily one way in your favor.

    • @Aws1962
      @Aws1962 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @sturdyinword6853 He said crystal clearly that no one know, not even the angles nor the son and only the Father. If that verse is ambiguous to you because of the Greek language, then all four gospels authenticity, credibility and accuracy are questionable as no one knows exatly what words Jesus uttered in his mother tongue Aramaic.

      @@Aws1962 What do you think the word know means here? (same Greek word btw), "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified" -also in the New Testament

    • @Aws1962
      @Aws1962 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@sturdyinword6853 First of all why do you compare the prhrase uttered by Paul with what jesus said. "I determined not to know" can imply "I determined to be ignorant". But the real meaning can be understood by its context. Mark 13:32 serves as part of Jesus' answer to the disciples' question in Mark 13:4. He explicitly told them that he did not know the hour. There is no otherway to look at it. His curse on fig tree confirms that he did not know the time of fruiting of the tree. He approached the tree hoping to find fruits. When there were no fruits he was disappointed and cursed the tree. This tree story clearly confirms that Jesus did not aware of the tree natural cycle or season for bearing fruits. Do not see things with church glasses.

    This is a completely different situation and saying "Yo just so you know there's an unexpected cliff there" is different from "Turn to god" and other things saying that we NEED to turn to god is an attempt to force there are things you can say not to force it 1. is saying absolutely nothing (we would LOVE this as god does NOT "save" our lives a cliff is a completely different situation so please stop telling us to turn to god when we don't want to god is a know thing that cliff is a completely different thing it's an object it's proven that is there it is something you can see while god we apparently can not see?? this is a dumb comparison cliffs are scientifically real I also thought the only people who should "represent" god were prophets?? Let me run a thought experiment with you: Answer me this- Have you ever lusted after a woman you aren't married with? (Jesus says this is adultery) Ever stolen anything? Ever beared false witness? always unwaveringly honored your Father and Mother? If you fail in any of these Jesus here says you go to Hell, and Jesus goes onto say you gotta follow him meaning Jesus DOES meet all of these- so, therefore, Jesus is Good, truly. Would you agree Jesus is good friend? see you get no wiggle room for Allah's "mercy" where he leaves behind justice and his wrath isn't let out. The true God is to punish us for our lives eternally, the only way we have an out is through Jesus.

      The Gospels came long, long, long, before Muhammad and therefore a thousand times more credible in content. The Gospel writers penned the scriptures between 50 and 90 AD. That is only between 17 and 50 years after Jesus' death and resurrection. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John would have been young men when Jesus walked the earth. There are many Gospel passages where not only Jesus claims to be God, but others refer to him as God as well. In John 10:30 Jesus states: "I and the Father are ONE."

    “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭14‬ ‭ESV

    This is such a powerful scene. I even recorded it and played it back. It had me in floods of tears and groaning, because I have dealt with multiple and curable illnesses and do till this day many times I have cried out to God and asked the same question why haven’t you healed me And I’ve also lost faith and thought he won’t heal me. There are people who don’t get healed, but they receive their healing on the other side, but watching this change my whole perspective. In the Bible, it talks about trials and tribulations, and that we would suffer for his namesake, and truthfully, how powerful of a statement for Jesus to say, he trusts us ( WOW) but the part that hit me the hardest was, he could easily heal us, and like many other share the miracles of Jesus instead, he says, in this journey to come to know how to still praise him, in spite of and to be patient in our suffering here on earth our reward is eternity with no suffering and when you do great things in his name, and spite of it will last for generations that hit me like a ton of bricks because it’s really not about us, and when we take our eyes off of us and we put it back on the Lord, it is about changing generations, our family. Our grandchildren are great grandchildren and great great, and so on that is so powerful, what we go through on earth is nothing to the joy and peace, and no suffering that we’re gonna have for eternity

    I believe you are looking at this the wrong way. God is not limiting his own knowledge. That doesn’t logically add up as some here are saying. The man in the video is actually incorrect for a different reason. When the word “know” is used it does not mean “to be informed of or have knowledge of” like we are familiar of the definition. Without getting to far into it here, The translation of the text is really meaning “to make known” meaning it is not the sons job to make the day known to everyone but only the fathers. There’s many sources stating this in more detail and explain why the translation was made this way rather than simply just stating what I said above. Cheers brother!

      Be still, there are seasons in my life where I also struggle in my mental and spiritual journey, there are also a lot of times when I feel I've nothing to give, that I feel lost. At the end of the day, remember that God does not think like us, He does not share our same logic. In spite of you, God loves you. When I find intrusive thoughts in my mind, I usually return to this reading, which comforts my heart and soul, I hope it helps you: Why is Jehovah my Shepherd? Why does he anoint my head with oil? What do these verses in Psalm 23 of the Bible mean? I thought that "anoint my head with oil" was figurative language meaning that God kept his blessing. But it is a beautiful parallel to real life. The clue is in "Jehovah is my SHEPHERD." Sheep often get their heads caught in brambles and die trying to untangle themselves. And there are flies that torment them by laying eggs in their nostrils that then turn into maggots and drive the sheep to bang their heads against rocks, sometimes to their death. Their ears and eyes are also susceptible to insect torment. Then the shepherd anoints the sheep's entire head with oil. And in this way the sheep gains peace. That oil forms a protective barrier against evil that could harm them, make them suffer and even die. Are you suffering, have you ever asked God to anoint your head with oil, He has an infinite supply, to relieve your sorrows and sufferings, to give you peace and rest! May our Father anoint your head with oil today!

      1. Just because Jesus put his head on the ground, it doesn't mean he is Muslim. Jesus taught us lots of ways to prey (standing up or bowing). E.g (using your logic) just because I eat beef and I am Christian, it doesn't mean that everyone who eats beef is a Christian. 2. Mary wore a veil not a HIJAB. Just because Mary covered their hair with a thin piece of cloth it doesn't mean she's Muslim. It's just your observation in a stereotype view. E.g if a man has long beard it does not mean he is Muslim. It is an assumption. Most Orthodox preist keep their beard long. 3. Yes. Yeshua didn't eat pork nor drank alcohol but he turned water into wine for people to drink. Yeshua (God) approved people of drinking wine otherwise he wouldn't choose wine as a beverage in John 2:1-11 You really need to read the bible before putting up false statements that make you look uneducated.

      @@thoufeekrahuman4982 Alright Brother, 1. Head covering was at the time a culture. The culture today as changed by a lot. E.g back at Paul's time, the Jewish culture was to get circumcised but now, the culture is not that religious. Jesus taught that appearances don't matter. It's what comes from your heart. Thus, a women who obeys God on the outside (wears a hijab) but is the opposite on the inside is no difference to the devil. It is up to the person to choose paths. Also some women at mass do wear them. 2. I know Jesus spoke Aramaic. Jesus preyed to God because he was trying to teach us the ways of showing our will to the Father as it is important. Jesus, as the son of God, carried out his Father's will to teach us the teachings once he was in heaven and no longer in earth which was to worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He was asking his Father to forgive us and restore all mankind from sin. Since he obeyed the Father perfectly and was sinless, he made salvation possible for us. 3. As for God, anything is possible. Jesus incarnated as a human means he was limited from knowledge but in his true form (Spirit) he knows everything. Also in that verse (Mark 13:32), Jesus is saying that he is high then humans and angels but just lower then the Father in his human form. In his real form, he is omnipotence to the Father. 4. First, we Christians don't worship idols. We have them to commemorate the scarifies God showed us, by dying for our sins. We don't bow down nor prey to the idol but only God (Trinity) who is in heaven. The idols are there to remind us but not to worship them. If u have more questions just ask. Remember that Jesus is the only lord you need and is the real king. God bless you

This is ridiculous. And god wont die for it or limit his knowledge by choice...this is no god ..this doesn't fit the Almighty ((this reference for the son not knowing when is judgement day btw )) Trinity, Crucification and Christmas are all Pagan concepts invented by Paul the imposter and more by the Romans to make Christianity appealing to the pagan Romans .. Jesus Peace be upon him never preached so called trinity. He preached that God is ONE. Trinity was an innovation introduced later by impostors. Jesus never preached Christianity... He did not carry Matk, John, Mathew and Luck bibles ... Jesus preached the Gospel which was in Aramic language. Both the Gospel and Aramic language were lost. .. This is the gospel that the quran told us to accept . Jesus preached Allah is ONE, that is Islam .... not Christianity Jesus preached the same message as all the other Prophets, from Adam to Noah to Abraham to Moses to Jesus and confirmed by Prophet Mohamed Peace Be Upon Them All ONE TRUE MESSAGE, ISLAM from ONE TRUE GOD, ALLAH

      Hello, thanks for the comment. I'll address the original sin question first- I would argue the debate on why we are held accountable and when is irrelevant. Either way we both agree soon after gaining consciousness a person sins. As for the trinity, and crucifixion being pagan or from Paul- Matthew 28:19: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Jesus was speaking in that verse btw and as for the crucifixion it isn't historically honest to say its made up by any religious group, its quite plainly recorded outside the New Testament by Josephus and Tacitus. For example: The Roman historian Tacitus (56-117 AD): In his writings, Tacitus describes the crucifixion of Christians under Emperor Nero: "Nero fastened the guilt [of the Great Fire of Rome] and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus... Accordingly, an arrest was first made of all who pleaded guilty; then, upon their information, an immense multitude was convicted, not so much of the crime of firing the city, as of hatred against mankind. Mockery of every sort was added to their deaths. Covered with the skins of beasts, they were torn by dogs and perished, or were nailed to crosses, or were doomed to the flames and burnt, to serve as a nightly illumination, when daylight had expired." (Annals, Book 15, Chapter 44)

    I love The Chosen, but this scene is not Scriptural. Jesus never told anyone they had to remain sick or disabled. Not. one. time. Only in his home town could He not do any miracles BECAUSE OF THEIR UNBELIEF. Mark 6:5-6

      I agree with you in the sense that this particular instance is creative freedom- 100 percent. I will say, we do find the principle of not being perfected in our weaknesses show can use them to lift up the lord in scripture. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (NIV): "7 Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

      I appreciate your courage to admit that. just remember that is a desire just like how you are led into any sinful thing. You can recognize you have the desire but choose not to act on it, just like the rest of temptations.
