Family Builds Pavilion Together for Equipment Storage
มุมมอง 2088 หลายเดือนก่อน
My dad’s garage is getting crowded with equipment… he had a pavilion on the property that wasn’t getting used… so what if we moved it to a better spot and used it to store some of that equipment? In this video the family gets together and reassembles this pavilion so that it can be better utilized. This is a snapshot of how my family is willing to come together to help each other, but busy sche...

A Spirited Drive Through the Country in My Outback XT
Not to be rude, but the interior looks like a first gen forester and to me with that sound it's even better, beause I myself like forester's a lot and this video is really nice.
Haha not rude at all! The Forester for many gens was based on the Impreza chassis and shared a lot of the same interior bits, like the dash. I had a 2001 Forester and it was really similar. I’d like to get another one eventually. I have an 04 Forester too I recently bought cheap that I’ll be doing a video on.
Where did you get that gouge pack????? I need that!
I made it! Cut a piece of ABS too glue over the A/C vents after cutting the vents out. Drilled holes for the gauges. Filled the edges with body filler and did a ton of sanding to get it all to look right.
that thumbnail looks amazing
Thanks! It’s just a screenshot from around 2:04
why the fuck does this pop up as recommended
(Insert stink face) Mhhhhm Dats naaassstyyy.
that's one of the basic human needs.
A little compressor surge is good for the soul
I was hoping for some good images which you had, but your explanation was also very helpful. Thank you!
I’m glad you found it helpful!
Years Back I knew a young guy who poked his eye out doing what you did with those springs vey dangerous with needle nose pliers
I could see that happening. Is there a better way you suggest doing it?
ha ha ha i heard you fart
lol WHEN
One thing is certain: It's better than it was.
I wish I could have went. Last minute something came up and I couldn’t:/
That’s a bummer man :( next year!
love the postal wagon!! got some footage of that one myself!! all the cars in your group lookin 🔥🔥
This helped me on my 2004 Forester. Its exactly the same. I had to wrestle with the springs for awhile, but it worked out. Thanks for sharing this.
Glad it could help!
awesome builds, would live to feature them on my channel sometime!! 🤙
I have the same issue, I replaced main relay, crank position sensor and rewired the c191 connector (injectors) and nothing. There is no spark. I have fuel pressure and injector pulsation. did you figure it out what it was?
Have tried the coil. My e30 wasn’t sparking and the coil was bad
Thank you for the video. I am currently shaving/tucking my 04 sti and was debating relocating it to the glove compartment. This looks super easy though
Love this.
👋
Just watched with the whole family! Loved the video!
Thanks for the help Cody and Colt. Couldnt have done it without you
Did you connect that crank position sensor?
Stay tuned for the actual boom!
I need to figure out how the previous owner did it on the Forester. The cooler assembly is still there but with no lines so I guess they just capped it off within it somehow..? Nice video though showing this method!
They must have just capped all of the coolant nipples? The oil is contained inside the unit
Nice trick for getting that plug out! 😊 I feel fairly comfortable running the "TG" series Fram filters in everything I own. I don't know if I should or shouldn't, but the quality & filtration definitely surpasses the cheapest, "PH" filters and it doesn't cost that much more.
Good video Cody. The oil warmer looks alot like the oil filter ring we install on heavy equipment for our evac systems
I did this on my suburu and ten minutes late I find my Alan socket I was looking for lol
Haha that kind of thing happens to me way more than I’d like to admit…
@@hillberry_revival if find a good fitting spline or torx bit also work iv found
Now loosen it with the same set up😂
Jam nut
If you can get two nuts on the bolt, you could tighten/jamb them against each other and use an open box wrench (if you have room for a wrench) on the innermost nut to loosen it . (Same method for removing studs). Nothing is as ideal as the right tool but I was able to finish the job last night and drive this car to work today because I didn’t have to wait on the right tool haha.
did u solve the problem
No not yet, car has been in the back burner for a while.
Thank you Cody ❤🎉
Thanks for asking me! How did I miss that you had a YT channel?! Definitely going to be catching up on the whole build.
@@hillberry_revival haven’t made content in a while but I need to get back on it!
*promo sm*
Glad you were able to bring that saw back to life and are putting it to good use!! Gotta say a small piece of me died every time a log went on the lam and rolled all the way down the hill into the creek! 😂
Haha don’t worry the creek is down and they’ve all since been recovered.
That's a good demo. One of the disappointing lessons from professionals is the way most pros completely ignore the parking brakes when doing a typical brake job. There's a separate fee code for parking brakes and if you didn't pay for it they won't touch them. Eventually the parking brake gets seized, which can create a big problem if the drum won't pull off. I find those lower star wheels get very rusty and corroded. Amateurs have more of a chance to do things properly because we aren't racing to get the car out the door. I like to put antiseize on those medial metal to metal contact points, and of course lube the rotating mechanism for the star wheel with high temp grease on the threads. More than once I've had to take it all off and find a cause for noise, often inside the parking brake where hardware rubs on the backing plate.
Good video Cody! Is that your own background music?
Yessir, it’s one Collin and I recorded years ago. Glad to see you can comment now ;)
Got links to the items purchased ?
Sorry for the late response, but I have added links to the description now. Thanks for asking, I'll try better to include these from now on
Congrats man
Thanks buddy!
Great stuff dude! Been wanting to do this exact relocation for years lol. I love that were both undoing some of our previous ricer mods also lmao
Haha thanks man! Lol I try to not be too hard on myself… we all start somewhere lol
This is an amazing video. Immensely helpful. No stupid music. Thank you!
I’m glad i could help! Thanks for watching
Miss you guys, hope to hang out sometime soon
Miss you too dude!

For future viewer reference, here's the #s for the reused parts in order that they're shown: 26269PA010 (Left) 26269PA000 (Right) the part diagrams just call this a "strut" or "parking brake strut" and then the triangular part is 26268PA000 the part diagrams call this a "plate shoe guide" and can be used on either side. Thanks for posting the video! I'm converting from rear drums to discs and need these references since I'm working from scratch.
I very much appreciate you adding those. Pinned your comment, thank you!
That line from Holes was perfect!! 😂
Great vid as always
Thanks for watching!
I do wish there was a link or something more about the parts kit tho not hating tho
Sorry just saw this! I show the part # for both the centric kit and the parking brake arms. The centric kit I bought off of rock auto. There are several kits to choose from on there. I can link them in the description.
Bruh thanks for sharing this cuz I’m about to do it and I’m not looking forward to it
I hope it goes well!
hell yeah
i love it
Cool Drive 😎
Great video, very well done!
Thank you sir!
