I'd also recommend using a clear, thin-walled straw with clear packing tape. It lets you see the colors better, especially as the beads get to the top of the straw
A clear straw is a great idea! I actually just didn't have any. So did it with what I had, but it would be so much better if you could see the beads.
Came here from your post! I thought you were hand sorting INTO the straw which is WAY more difficult lol Granted, this method requires a wide, flat surface to spread out the beads, but much better than holding a handful that might spill out or get full!
