That's so nice! I homeschool too (it's my last year), but in Brazil, here it's more unusual, so it's difficult to identify with someone, people think it's strange, but it was great to identify with you, I also do CC, and I study the same things. Thanks for this video!!

10th grade this year and I'm considering being homeschooled next year so I have more time to study for SATS, and because I'm just so exauhsted with my classmates (They're so loud I can't hear anything in class or focus, half the sessions are spent trying to shut them up and the control and actual curriculum is garbage) Hope I can convince my parents. I'm at the end of the year, but have learned basically nothing about SATS or algebra...

I think once you start easing into homeschooling, it get sluice easier! I’m just about done with sophomore year right now, and that’s almost a month before the public school kids from where I’m from! I even work 3-4 times a week now, it’s really easy tbh
what if one day the work just isnt done?
and what about when you’re sick, its not like you aren’t already at home

does anyone have tips for trying to convince/bring up the potential for me to be homeschooled to my parents? i’ll be a freshman next year. im autistic and have physical health problems, making public school quite plainly insufferable for me, especially these last few years.
Do you have the option for Homebound instruction at your school? You can find out if your health problems are disabling enough for you to stay home, if going to school is painful

i also a homeschooler but i don't think i have my school planned as good as yours lol, this year im just doing stuff that i have to do so its kinda boring but next year im going to be focusing on subjects that would actually benefit me
I am being homeschooled and I can relate to the cons very well. I have no friends to physically talk with which is so stressful as I had a lot of friends when I was in school. Boredom hits so hard when staying inside the house alone and I have no motivation at all. I hope you'll be able to give me some tips to overcome boredom.

You can always re-enroll in your previous school (unless it's an admission based school with limited spots)

So funny story I actually am doing the reverse of that I’ve been homeschooled my entire life and I’m going to go public next yr
I would write up a plan, almost like a business plans. How will you be accountable? What are the pros and cons? How will you mitigate the effects of the cons? What curriculum have you researched? What are your states laws regarding homeschooling?Are there co-ops or classes in your area for homeschooled high schoolers? How will you get a transcript to go to college(if that's your plan)? How much will it cost? Where is the money coming from? Will you work part time? Are you going to take online classes? If you really want to do this you will need to demonstrate that you are responsible enough, diligent enough, organized enough to be productive and thrive, especially if you will be responsible for your own work. The effort you expend in really researching would demonstrate your dedication to remaining accountable in a more autonomous learning environment. I would listen to a teen that showed they really wanted it and could work independently.
