Unearthing a MOUSE INFESTED 1975 Oldsmobile after 10 years and getting it running again
My 1975 Olds 98 LS has been sitting for the better part of 10 years without being driven. Brakes were stuck, suspension was broken and it has been the home to a good population of mice for a while. It was pretty moldy inside but once all the moldy stuff was ripped out, it could get the ventilation it needs through the copious amount of floor holes.

Short clips of the ride through the water. The part missing is when they were swimming. Very fun and well worth the expense for a private tour!

When he first started pulling the car and the wheels were NOT turning I thought that the car was still in Park , then I saw the front wheel turning and I said OH OKAY. It’s all good.

what material is the white barrier for the waterfall? what did you use to hold up to the weight of the rocks?
The rocks are pretty much just stacked. This setup eventually did not work well and I put pond liner in there to hold water but it still seems to leak out some how. Keeps the humidity perfect year round though. The material I originally used was a solid plastic, almost like plexiglass that I formed with heat. The seal between it and the PVC did not hold well though. If I were to do it again, I would make a small reservoir out of material that can be sealed with silicone. pvc cannot be sealed that way apparently. I will be making an update video of this as well as a "tour" of some of my aquariums as well in the future.

This enclosure is amazing, I just question it it's the best for a ball python. Pretty tank.
How would you ever be able to take Nessie out of there. There are so many areas to hide in and so many items for her to wrap around to hold onto when trying to take her out. My female ball python would have this completely trashed in one day. One question I have is what stop the “cleanup bugs” from leaving the enclosure and getting around the house? It does look amazing though.
I have come to the realization that if I ever needed to get her out in an emergency, the entire enclosure would be destroyed/messed up. There is no way to take her out unless she is out of one of her hides, which is fine because she doesn't like being handled much, she is very skittish. The bugs seem to stay in there for the most part. I haven't seen any rogue isopods roaming around anywhere. As long as you have a decent substrate for them they'll have plenty of food between decaying wood and plants and animal byproduct.
How did the clean up crew grow in the vivarium, did the worms and isopods multiply enough or did you have to add more of any later on?
It's almost a year later, and although I don't see the bugs often, I do see evidence that they are reproducing, so I have to assume that they are self sustaining. The worms hide even more than the isopods, so it takes a little digging to find them. I have added dried crickets and they are totally gone within a week, so the bugs are definitely doing their job.
This is amazing to see, and gave great ideas for my build I have just started. I was wondering though. With the wild caught isopods and worms did you worry about anything else getting in the viv like mites or anything like that?
I thought about it, but did research and concluded it was a relatively low risk. I gathered them from the forest basically. I did quarantine them for a couple of weeks beforehand. It's best to get farmed insects to be 100% sure though.

The water in the waterfall feature is cycled and has plenty of plants to take care of any unwanted waste that makes it in there.
I plan on doing an update video at some point. This initial waterfall setup ended up collapsing. Subscribe so you can be notified when I do! :)

Could this turn out being too humid ? For a ball python
It actually offers a number of different humidity levels throughout the different hides. It never goes below 40% on the warm side and is higher in the actual hide and the side with the water stays above 70%. I can add humidity by spraying or using a water fogger when it is rarely needed.
