Loved Loved Santa Tell Me. I agree
Appreciate it!
Thank YOU! I am now a fan. 😊❤
Thank you for such an insightful and helpful review of this movie/documentary!
Great review, MJ!
@@RobinRichieProductions - thank you. Love you always!
A lot of the criticism I hear is that the movie doesn’t follow “established” plot lines. This is interesting since the first movie already established this isn’t following established plot lines…and this movie is not really trying to either…they are telling their own original joker story…seeing as how they are telling their own original joker story i don’t see how people are trying to limit how you can tell your own original story with a character. The interesting thing is that the parallels to the original are still there so it’s not like it’s a completely different story. You can see my take on it on my channel
Thanks for the comment. 😊 I will check out your review. But yes, I agree that it doesn't follow a traditional plot structure but it DOES have a plot structure. The story is told chronologically, so it doesn't get confusing. Todd Philips always have command of the story from start to end. He combines the musical and thriller. Not everyone is going to be a fan and that's ok.
@@nightglowentertainment thanks for checking it out. And I misspoke. I meant to say this movie isn’t trying to follow the established joker narrative and has been true to that since the first film. So when this movie continues that I understand the disappointment but the but the surprise. Yes this movie does have a plot structure. That was not in question for me. I just wasn’t clear in my first comment. I agree Todd Philips brought his vision to light and I delighted in the cinematography and sound of it throughout. It was very visceral without being overly gory or shocking Yes I agree people don’t have to like it and can be disappointed, but not liking it for the false narratives being pushed is the only thing I’m calling out
interesting view
Thanks for your review. I have heard mixed reviews about the movie. KP is one of my favourite Queens in history, so I could almost tell by the trailer that it was way off in respect to the real history as we know it. I have not seen it as yet, I will see if it is on any of the streaming sites the family may subscribe to at some point, or download it from TH-cam. I also fear Anne Askew has been very badly portrayed. We are avid history buffs and I enjoyed your wee lesson. You gave a really concise review. I may write again to let you know my thoughts once watching it. 🏴🇸🇪
@@suswik3682 Thanks! please do share your comments once you see the film. 😁
Will do. X

I love the review! As a fellow Zorro fan I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it, and I agree with how well-made the show is, especially in how it portrays California's history and cultures, and I am praying it gets a season 2. Nah-Lin in particular is a standout for me, and is now one of my favorite characters in the Zorro mythos
Actually it just hit the one Billion mark in recent hours: Seems like the fans have accelerated the process faster than what you thought.. 😮 🎉🎉🎉🎉 ❤❤❤❤

Another fantastic video! Thank you!
It’s an alternate history & a fun escapism! It has magical creatures- it’s not PBS masterpiece theater - it tells you that in the first 3 minutes.
I'm Irish and live in Ireland although not in Northern Ireland (or North of Ireland as the group term it) and saw this film/movie yesterday in a cinema. I think it was very well done with all credit to the actors (professional and otherwise) and director. I've watched a number of YT reviews by Americans and yours was one of the better ones as you took some effort to understand it. Much of the background won't be familiar to foreign audiences particularly the difference between NI and the Republic of Ireland (itself a contentious 'description') where the Fassbender character is shown living in the Republic but his son is in Belfast (NI} best illustrated by them talking from two different phone boxes shown humorously back to back. I enjoyed it mainly for the subtle humour, even though Hip Hop isn't really my type of music.
When you said you did your research to pronounce an Irish language names more power to you. You know how to do reviews and do your research. That’s beautiful such respect. I have such respect for you. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! ❤ Thank you for your support. 😊
Lots of love back to you from Ireland. Great review.
Thank you so much. Means alot. ❤

You left out the very important reason why Cala's children were kidnapped and enslaved. Jula the older rebellious daughter, killed a drunken Roman legionnaire in self-defence of her virtue. Watch "Rise Or Die" the official podcast of the show. Offers much more insight as to the creative direction, creative and design decisions that were made for it. I enjoyed watching "TATD" and liked the cinematography of the series. You never lost your sense of place or time through the series camera work. Yes some of it was dark, but that reflected the lighting of the time --- torches and candles which was authentic and added to the series' atmosphere and realism. It didn't have that slick Hollywood look or colour leached palettes, we've become accustomed to.
Very informative. Thanks
You're very welcome. 😊
Not of interest… sorry!!

Mattel is moving too slow and the black guy with the blad head who works for Mattel was giving me he just wanted to keep his job. Dude it’s 2024 Black Barbie should have her own show by now, he kept saying it’s a process and I’m like dude stop playing in our faces, you don’t care. Then he’s going to say my daughter have all the races of the dolls so she can see every race, whats wrong with her just having all black dolls? Just another way to make white people at his job feel comfortable because he can’t be real and say what he wanted to say. Mattel just want to spoon feed us because they don’t want to lost their core audience who is white. If they do too much for the blacks consumers, then their whites customers are going to be up in arms. He can’t be real because he might lose that job at Mattel. The black guy with the locks said dismantled the whole white supremacy system! I like that message better!
I started listening to Celine 30 yrs ago. I saw her twice in concert (1998 - Nashville TN) & (1999 - Kansas City MO). I had all her French & English albums too, etc. I was shocked to learn she has SPS (never heard of before) 😢 I pray she'll be able to sing like she used to soon. God gifted her with such an incredible voice!
Yes, Amen. 🙏🏾
I have to tell you this even after Shindana went out of business we still had several other BLACK OWNED TOY COMPANIES Olmec in the 80s and 90s but after Olmec went out of business we still had some other black owned companies that came and went but luckily today we still got the Fresh dolls (that company been around for 15+ years) Dr. Lisa even did doll lines with Disney and now Rock The Bells, even today we got companies like Purpose Toys (that created the Naturalistas that released in 2022 that’s the 1st all black doll line that catered to natural hair from what I remember) both the fresh doll and Naturalistas are sold at Walmart, Target and Amazon we even have other black owned toy brands like healthy roots (a line of 18 inch dolls with natural hair), harperiman and Orijin Bees those brands are sold at target too BUT SADLY none of those companies I mentioned advertise their toys I can say that things are a lot better than they was even 10 years ago
😊 Wow, thanks for sharing. I didn't know. Next time I visit Target, I will take a look at the toys section!
i think the 2007 version of the doll study may be Kiri Davis’ A Girl Like Me!
But mothers play a role in this too. I remember that my brother got amazing action figures and robot toys and legos while my mom nor my dad didn't put much effort into what I wanted. They just bought whatever was advertised while my brother got what he specifically wanted. I remember my father bought me Cinderella carriage that I asked for but... 2 years later when I had phased out of the Disney Princesses and preferred Bratz dolls at 9 years old.
Excellent points. I lived this era, you are spot on about accuracy. I loved the old feel and the masculine feel . Good review, thanks.
Thanks for the review!
Mina is not delivering the bird in the forest. She’s supposed to deliver it to the zoo in Belfast
Thanks for the correction. I missed that detail when I was watching the film. 😊❤
I've seen a preview of this movie on TH-cam I'm sorry to have say this but this movie looks like it came straight out of a RedBox rental machine at Kroger.
Preach, Sister!
I agree 100% This movie SUCKS big time!
This is one of the cheapest movies that ever put on cinema
I ranked this the No. 3 film 🎥 of the year (2023) behind only: Godzilla Minus One (no. 1) and No Hard Feelings (no. 2)
PS - Believe it or not The Fall Guy was recycled too! 😂 TV show on ABC from 1981 to 1986. American Ultra with Jesse Eisenberg was the last movie I remember liking that was not based on any previously released property
Question ❓. Just me? Or do you also confuse Ryan Reynolds with Ryan Gossling? I feel like the Mandela Effect everytime I see him....like, "He was Deadpool!" Smh. Thanks for reviewing this. I saw Furiosa today for Memorial Day....and I wanted to see The Fall Guy instead. 4/5 stars ⭐ says I should have. Ana Taylor Joy let me down.
Answer: I have never gotten the Ryan's mixed up but I DO get the Jennifers mixed up because there are too many of them. But now that you mentioned it, the Ryan's COULD play brothers in a movie. 😂
FUN FACT: this was originally supposed to be titled "The Pop Tart Movie". Think it would have done better and made more sense if so. This movie was like a $100,000 car that starts smoking and shaking when it gets on the expressway. The QUALITY of the sets and cameras is excellent. The name recognition of all the actors is all-time great. And the story telling sucks. Seems like they tried to go the opposite direction of Air. Another product origin movie on the Michael Jordan Nikes.
I went to see this. I feel that this was Zendaya's best acting job. However, I am admittedly tired of her only having on-screen romances with white co-stars. The only time Ive seen her divert is a Netflix movie where Denzil's son was her husband. Her and Zoey Saldana irk me with that. I can tell you as a tennis movie this was more interesting than King 👑 Richard. That surprised me. Zendaya was a TERRIBLE MOTHER in this film.
I think America is really racist and sexist. Lol. Like....most people would have beaten Trump the first time he ran. But collectively people said "Im not voting for a WOMAN!" When she was clearly more qualified than him. Same with this. I feel most American audiences said "Indian John Wick" and never gave it a chance. They want their heroes to be Caucasian. Even though behind China? India is the most populus country on earth. Also feel the TITLE of the movie caused more discrimination. But based on your review I will go see it as soon as it hits Red Box.
Im curious what city are you based in? I just realized that Not Another Church Movie was not showing anywhere in my hometown - Milwaukee Wisconsin. I am interested in what cities that film was made available. As far as ATLAS? Hmmm. I just feel like sometimes when an audience TURNS ON AN ARTIST? There is no coming back. The people have decided that they just do not like J Lo anymore....and therefore, they resent any project she tries yo present. This was not nearly as bad as the 17 % Rotten Tomatoes says it was. Good review.
To answer your question, I am based in New York City.
Thank you for the review. I almost hate Tyler Perry. He hasn't spoken to Donald Glover since he spoofed him on Atlanta FX. And he tried to get black people at BET fired for airing The Boondocks episode ripping him. He dresses up as a woman...and is a Cussing Christian when he does it. And has the audacity to be upset when other black people call him out on it.
I think the end works. Because the book is a book and the movie is a movie. Also Hayse did tell Solene that after 5 years to give Izzy the chance to finish high school, to meet again. And even though Solene told him to accept happiness if he finds it Hayse went back to Solene because true love finds it’s way no matter what. So for me The idea of you movie is perfect.
I agree!
