After watching numerous TH-cam videos on poured acrylic artwork I finally took the step to start myself.
This channel documents my progression starting from a beginner and shows my progression and lessons learned. I hope this page will be informative, fun and inspiring and will encourage others to start acrylic poured artwork.

This latest video in my fluid art painting for beginners series in which I show how to do acrylic pour using a thicker acrylic paint mix. This is a dutch pour with water only and make use of ocean inspired colours. I specifically chose to thicken the paints in order to try and keep the colours more distinct. I have used 60% Paint / 40% water for this painting.
I love the look of this painting as it reminds me of the sea and I think the colour interact well. I like to experiment with my fluid art paint mixes and I think this one was very successful.
This is the beginning of my journey into the acrylic painting dutch pour technique and hope to get better over time.

What happens if you don’t torch….do the air bubbles matter?

That's wonderful. But please, what ratios did you use for the paint and medium mixture? 50% paint with 50% glue/water mixture? or more? THANKS
70% PVA to 30% water, but he states it needed more water… …paint ratio used is up to the artist for obvious reasons, but he does advise more paint for the background 👍

Im very new to this art but found when using PVA, paint and a splash of water it have a thick skin on the top which then won't blow!! Ive tried so many different ratios but with same result. Can you help me with this please? Thanks for all the videos.

Love the colours! I've been having an internal battle with myself regarding pouring mediums and due to being on a tight budget I've been using pva glue and water mixed into my paints. This has worked for the most part but I'm struggling with the consistency to create a decent dutch pour (it's the base colour or large amounts of paint I'm struggling to get right). I've thought about leaving out the pm and just using paint & water but then I guess you go through your paint a lot quicker as you use more? Sorry for the long message but love your work :-)
