I have the extra battery. It was very easy to install and really opened up my ebike rides to more destinations. It does however slightly reduce the step-through room.

There is a lot of interest in bike racks that are easier to load and unload. I post on several electric bike Facebook groups and half the questions are about how to transport our ebikes. The rack I use now has built in ramps and that is a big help.
