Busch Stadium Tour and St. Louis Cardinals HOF & Museum
มุมมอง 11K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Last week I was in town for the Cardinals postseason games. While the games didn’t go the way I wanted, it was a privilege to see Yadi and Albert’s last ABs. During my stay, I stopped in for a Busch Stadium tour. Included in the ticket, was admission to the Cardinals hall of fame and museum as well. Take a look!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2018
Your Haunted Mansion Collection yours are amazing! I have used them as reference to pick up things I missed. These videos should have literally thousands of views. I don’t understand the TH-cam algorithm. You are an excellent resource. Thank you!
I'm going to miss old Mike Shannon the old Irishman very nice gentleman glad they got cheap carry and I'm glad the Cardinals are doing much better than I did last year
@@Eddunaway-qp5tv years ago when Mike Shannon’s restaurant was still in downtown, they did a Friday night post game wrap up from his dining room. I went and was lucky enough to sit by the table where they had their mics set up. During a commercial break, he came over, asked me how my meal was, and signed a ball for me. Pretty surreal.
Awesome setup. I am not a cards fan (neutral) but can respect a really sweet set up. Wish i had a basement.
Omg that kid ..
Any recommendations for tour groups for St. Louis, including seeing a cardinal game??? Thanks.
@@christinat.7264 sorry, I have no idea what goes into that.
I'm impress with the busch stadium tour.
I see oragan
Phillies fan here, me and many others will be there this weekend to take over Camden yards. First time There looking foward to it!
Just saw a clip of it!
Every time I go to a game I just end up spending my time exploring. It's like a big RPG location.
My home stadium. Love Busch. Took the tour last year on my birthday and plan to do it again this year for my 40th.
It is great…love how they include the museum admission too.
@@dereksdestinations Yep. Love the Museum too. Especially getting to hold one of Ozzie Smit's bats. He's my favorite baseball player of all time.
Where can I find display for fitted hats like u have sir
You mean the white cabinets? They are from IKEA, called “brimnes”
@@dereksdestinations do u have a link
@@dereksdestinations the hats u collect r they part of collection or something u wear I have a lot I’m trying to do something with
I don’t have a link. You’ll have to go to the IKEA site and search brimnes. The hats are autographed so they are just for display.
@@dereksdestinations thank u
Very cool! Very impressive collection! I like that Ozzie poster! The stadium seats, the hat collection, I LoVE the cards on f the the wall too!
Thanks! The Ozzie poster shows some age, but I still love it too. Lots has been updated so I have to do a pt 2!
Hello Derek and Brittanie. This is Erno one of the cousins in Germany of your mother Dagmar . I am very sorry about your loss of your father !
Hi, I’m just seeing this message. Thank you. He is truly missed!
Awesome
Amazing video! Love it.. Thanks!
Just went on a school field trip to the Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland area. I got to see the Camden Yards from the World Trade Center: Baltimore. Such a cool experience, especially considering how iconic that ballpark really is.
Nice views of the inner harbor area from the WTC!
Originally they wanted to knock down the Warehouse and build the Baltidome for the Colts and Os, I’m glad they went with the stadium complex instead, I will be going to the Ravens training camp practice at 12:30 pm and might make sort of a double header and buy a ticket to the Yankees-Os game that night.
@@rockvilleraven Cool, you should buy a ticket to the O’s game. I’m actually from the Cleveland area, so I’m a Guardians fan. But, the Orioles are such a cool organization.
@@MasonBrumbaugh Fun fact: Both Baltimore ballparks were used for the baseball scenes in Major League 2. Camden Yards was the Indiana home field, Memorial Stadium was used for the road game scenes and was home for their AA affiliate Bowie Baysox that year while their stadium was still under construction, they averaged 7000 a game that year and closed the upper deck. Drew 15000 when Mussina was on a rehab assignment.
@@rockvilleraven Cool, never knew.
I’ve been on the tour. When you’re down on field level they will not let you step onto the grass. Here is am, about to watch a game where men with cleats on run around on that grass for 9 innings but I can’t step on it in my Skechers. SMH
Great tour…but shut that kid up!!!
Was Cal Ripkin Sr.ever a player?
I believe he only played as a minor leaguer.
@@dereksdestinationsBut the Summer College Baseball League in the DC area is the Cal Ripken, Sr. league
This is the best fan cave - cos its not over the top. Very nice. Not a baseball fan but only time I watched it was when Ozzie was ss.
I appreciate it!
This is a great tour to take I've taken it I've also been inside the Cardinal Clubhouse during the winter warm-up weekend everybody should do that
From St. Louis .. freakin awesome bro. GO CARDS⚾️
Thanks! I appreciate that!
That’s insane I wanna do something like that some day
I admire the Cardinals the most of any team in any sport. No matter what come the end of the season theyre always in the playoffs or right there. This team never quits and never plays soft. I hope to make it to Busch at least once in my life for a game
As a St. Louis area resident and lifelong Cardinals fan, I appreciate your comment. Come see a game, you won't regret it, win or lose. Lots to do in the Lou, you can also see the Clydesdales at Grants Farm. Used to be free years ago, not sure about now.
I was there for the first a few months back to see the Cards vs. Cubs and it was amazing! I can't imagine a more fun and festive baseball environment! Missed out on doing the Stadium Tour thanks to a delayed flight, but next time for sure! Thanks for the tour!
AWESOME COLLECTION AND DISPLAY!!!
Great Video !!!
Wonderful this is so nice! This is surely why the Cardinals have over 3 million visitors a year!I inboxed you on Facebook.
I Miss home but love my O'S and Ravens. Had to move away because of work. I sure do miss it AND the seafood.
Lets go os!
They had a great season!
@@dereksdestinations next seaon is going to be insane! Getting season tickets next year agian
Wow! That’s awesome man😤
Thank you!
i need that matt adams picture. Best game i have ever been to as a redbirds fan
I think I might actually have an extra to sell if you were really interested.
I love my Orioles so much
Glad to see they are back at .500
Nice video I will be there in a few weeks
Have fun! Great park!
Ashame they have a horrible team ballpark beautiful
I actually just went back in April. While the structure is still beautiful, they need to update their video boards because they are showing some age.
Well your comment aged well , don’t hop on the bandwagon now sir
It’s April 2023... O’s are looking good... again.
aged like milk
This is a cool man cave from a Royals fan
Nice! I would like something like this only all teams- even though I’m a tigers fan!
Thanks. I barely have other teams in the room, but I do have some Tigers newsclippings from the ‘34 series. That’s who the famous gas house gang faced. Some big Detroit names on that roster.
@@dereksdestinations cool
Awesome collection! Do you leave it up year round or just around Halloween time?
Thank you. I made this video when we lived in our old condo and did it up only during Halloween. When we moved into a new home, we didn’t have room for that big wall unit so it now sits in our garage…decorated with HM stuff year round!
here's my question! is the spots where the balls hit a exact location? if so how could they(o's) be sure if they werent out there
Good question. I’d say most are accurate. Tv captures and lots of vendors out on the street to witness. I’ll say this…Griffey’s is right on bc you could go back and watch the replay of the HR derby. I was at a game in 2011 when Lance Berkman of the Cardinals hit a grill where Boog’s BBQ once stood. So that one is an approximate spot where it would have hit the ground a few feet below the grill.
They have employees who stand out in that area during the games
Who brings a screaming child on a stadium tour...
Agreed!
As a Reds fan I can never "like" your cave, but I respect the hell out of it. Nice job!!
Understood and thanks, I appreciate it!
That’s impressive, cool room man. I just found a bunch of Todd Ziele cards . I got my cards out from 20+ years ago and for whatever reason I must have liked him when I was a kid. And ima Braves fan. Lol.
Thank you. It’s funny you mentioned Zeile bc he was my first autograph of what became many. I live in NJ and strangely he did a card show in my area. Congrats on the Braves WS win!
Great video.....thank you for the effort and share - very enjoyable! : )
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Wow
I like the fact that there is a convenience store in the Warehouse, "Boogs General Store" formerly Camden Market"
Well done looks amazing 👏
This park is on my bucket list.
I like this park
I’m finally going to see it just over a month from now!
Just subsribed. Awesome looking man cave.
Thanks Ken. I appreciate the comment and follow. Looking to do more videos again this summer.
