We are here to take a dip into the river of togetherness, swim or drown together and experience the depth.
A Potential explanation for an individual existence could range to infinite, yet when it comes to coexistence we tremble, feel lost, fall apart. The Ziarat Project is one such possibility to make two endpoints interact, have an immersive experience at a common ground, explore knowledge, traditions, craftsmanship, skills, structures that persist, flow, meanders through different communities and tribes.
Inspiration for this project has been stories of resilience and compassion, that were collected, sung, performed, designed, built, stitched, carved, and lived on the worldly stage we live in. The project believes to calibrate art as a living, learning, creating, exchanging, and developing a resource to engage communities.

We invite you to join us in the hills of Sahyadri to build together a structure with the principle of vernacular architecture and techniques of wattle and daub.
It’s for people who wish to learn how to build structures using local material and knowledge, who have an understanding of ecology, architecture, design, material, useful arts and affinity for building spaces, or simply somebody who wants to learn!
The cost of the carawaan is inclusive of facilitators’ remuneration, BnB, and internal commute within Pune, Maharashtra.
