i study art a level which is centred around the theme of homeless and i was wondering if i could include most of the pages from my art book into my digital portfolio or would that be cheating
Most of what I showed in my portfolio was from my Level 3 work, so it’s definitely not cheating! It’s all about presenting your skills and creativity, so go for it and showcase your best work
@@charleslawsongilli’m going to apply for lboro in 2025 and the entry requirements said i have to make new pieces with a chosen theme . I am currently struggling to make my architecture portfolio. Do you reckon i could include some pictures from my a level stuff and alter my descriptions according to chosen theme. Also what did you appload your portfolio on?
Hi Gwen! Including some of your A-Level work is a great idea, especially if it aligns with your chosen theme. Just make sure to present it in a way that highlights your skills and creativity. You can also adapt the descriptions to show how the pieces fit your theme-it shows flexibility and thoughtfulness. As for how I submitted my portfolio, I think I put it together in PowerPoint at the time, then downloaded it as a PDF and uploaded it directly onto their portal. It was quite a while ago, so I can’t remember all the details, but that’s roughly how I did it. Best of luck with your application!

Thank you so much for the support, Keyser! I think digital tools are incredible for efficiency, but it’s vital we keep traditional skills alive-they’re the foundation of great design. Appreciate the thoughtful question!

what did you study in a-levels and what were your grades
I studied an extended diploma in 3D Design & Architecture in Nottingham. I already knew i wanted to go into Architecture so i narrowed down my path earlier on. I got D*D*D*

Hi! Your video is really helpful, thank you a lot!! I'm French, and I'm applying to some universities in UK. I have one of my architecture interviews in few days (for westminster), and I'm scared of forgetting words or making language mistakes, do you know if they're going to take that into account?
OMG when is yours? I'm going to it on the first of march and I'm sure they won't mind you making language mistakes, I am foreign myself and people have always been patient with me even if I made small mistakes!!! I'm sure you will be fine!
