Hi Sir, thank you for the video, appreciate if you can help to show me how to model the shear stud in abaqus, I have assignment to model concrete slab of 125mm thick on steel I beam with shear stud.
why are you multiplying 25.387 while importing in abaqus?
To ensure that the part/object in cad drawing match with the size in my existing model. You have to determine the scale ratio from the drawing if you dealing with numerous objects in a modelling.
How can we obtain the scale ratio?

how did you define the interaction between concrete to concrete ?
Using the surface to surface contact. Specifically, the normal and tangential interaction behaviors between the master and slave surface adopted the “hard contact” algorithm and “penalty friction” algorithm, respectively. Under penalty friction key in the concrete to concrete friction value (In my model, I have been considered 0.7, yet It can be any other value based on the literature)

@@magedqasem7403Perhaps, If u deal with concrete to CFRP contact problem. As I acknowledged most people using surface to surface contact when dealing conc to conc.
