Great video, Nicole! Lots and lots of inspiration. I once went to Yarnia when my husband and I went on an overnight trip to NJ, and I did make a purchase, of course. After that we visited a used bookstore up the street. He does books, I do yarn.

Hello! So glad I found you! I recently found one of your patterns at a local 2nd hand store in the craft section. No work, no yarn, just a two page pattern. I make my own yarn ( yes,my own sheep and my own spinning wheel, lol) and I have some yarn that would be perfect for this pattern. It is called The broken pillars shawl. Now I’m not a beginner but I’m not “advanced”. I can do any stitch I understand in any order or pattern. My problem is understanding what the directions are telling me to do. It seems like I always have a question after each set of instructions. I’m sure it is just me over reading (as usual). Is there anyway possible that you will or can do a tutorial on this shawl ? I would even share some of my home spun yarn for you to use for the tutorial. I am still trying to work out the pattern but would love to see it done by the creator ! That hat is the cutest thing ever!! I think you should leave the eyes how they are, they look soooo cool! I have made spiderman hats but not that cool! I am not up on all the Marvel stuff Lol 😂I have two little grandsons who love it so I better get on it! As far as advice on the plane I know babies ears can bother them on long flights so look that up. Also Pinterest will have ideas for activities you can have for her. Have a safe trip and have fun. I will be praying all goes well 😊💜💜💜

what a great idea to do a granny square blanket in the hogwarts house colours. i feel like for HP fans it's very obvious what it is, but for people who haven't read the series it's still a beautifully coloured blanket.

To me, the center of the motif looks a little too similar to a certain symbol, so I would probably make those squares just solid but overall LOVE THIS PATTERN

Another inspiring video, Nicole! What I love most about your videos is the wide variety of yarns used in your creations. some are from the big-box stores, while others are from unique hand-dyers. I also love that you use finer yarns, like sock weight. I'm happy that you went to WEBS. I'll be going there in June when we'll be staying in nearby Amherst. I've been there before but it's always a treat! Good Luck in your move... sorry to be losing a fellow Westchester-ite, but I'm certain that you'll be happy in NJ.

i absolutely love how the terrapin fiberworks yarn is coming out in your blanket! i have a friend who is vegan and i'd love to make her some socks one day so i think i will order some of their sock yarn at some point. i'm interested to see how the zebra yarn works up in crochet. i find zebra yarns very intriguing but i've never used them before.
