i started hate watching SNW but god this series is deserving respect
The Enterprise and three Klingon battle cruisers rolled in sync.
Love this song. 💙🩵🤍 I feel kinda bad that most people these days don't watch Star trek. But I will be a trekkie forever since 2020
The song beings me nostalgia from when I first saw the episode. I feel La'an so much. I used to sing it everyday thing i still do. I love this song 💙🩵🩵
I truly hate what they have done to uhura. They have stripped her down to a glorified phone operator. They have also neutered her. Her anthem proclaims that she's happy being alone. This is pathetic and it's an obvious reaction to the Fanboys who disliked the Abrams films.
"...trapped in a place of 'conceal don't feel' for too long and that it might be time to change my paradigm."
I assume they all committed Hegh'bat after that... (Yes I did have to google it).
Worf: "We don't speak of this to outsiders"

For me, this song is on a whole different level. It's beyond entertaining. Thank you to the artists who made this happen!
For anyone, who like me thought this was a beautiful song, amazingly performed, but hates the pop trend to shout one word repetitively. th-cam.com/video/fPp5LaZYmoI/w-d-xo.html (To be clear, I don't want to detract from everyone enjoys the shouty version. It's very well sung, she's VERY talented, amazing acting as well, unfortunately one word shouted at me over and over, no matter how tunefully, only makes me want to punch the person shouting, and I can't appreciate the otherwise perfect song. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but for anyone who would prefer the more nuanced version, it actually still works great.)
I dislike the fact that new films use amateur cinematographers these days. I think they have gotten so far away from being professionals the next step is what we used to call "radio." That is, no image, just blackness with audio.
Considering how some of the songs were actually really good, it's a bit of a shame the "finale" was such a benale 'same as every other musical' shouty number.
Ethan Peck IS Spock. In two (ten episode) seasons he has easily embodied the role as comfortably and convincingly as Leonard Nimoy did in three 28 episode seasons and a string of feature films. His performance trascends television. I am certain that Leonard Nimoy and grandfather Gregory Peck are both looking down approvingly. He is a major reason that SNWs is such an astonishingly good show after so many Star Trek flops.
STTOS was photographed by professional cinematographers. It had traditional Hollywood lighting mixed with abstract color pallettes. But one could always see the actors' faces - after all, the all-important thing was the actors. Today's efforts light the background at the expense of the faces. Such a shame.
I could imagine Chris Cornell singing this song
Some one needs to put up the lyrics. Thanks 🙏🏾
Hi 🙂, the lyrics are there, you just need to make sure your [CC] close captioning is on.
Funny how star trek literally Boldly Goes, evolving all the time and nails it. Star Wars just goes from bad to worse
This is my favorite song fr fr
Jajajaja epica la escena, se viene la 3ra temporadaaaa
Goosebumps
The look around when the music starts lmao
Anyone notices the lights on engine room is following the heavy beat?
This reminds me of the ending of Old Yeller.
Whew. I got so sick of my name when I was in the Navy. By the end of boot camp, I was completely over it..😂
This is such a great series. A crew whose names you know and character development with them. And this episode was superb.
Una is cute after overcoming difficulties
Just when I thought Spock couldn't be any hotter, he starts to sing and DANG! Man, I want to lick and nibble those ears.
What the fuck is this? Is this Trek now? Jesus.
It’s better than ever
If you like this? you are an idiot...
Are you really that dumb 😂
2:13 🎵''The secrets I keep safe inside....A skill I perfected...So I could survive''🎵 God..this line here just hits so hard. You can go and apply this to so much. And when you remember Una's trial and it just.......This song is amazing.
This song is devastating after watching episode 3. Both Christina Chong and Paul Wesley in that episode where excellent. Genuine heartbreak. The show writers nailed this entire show.
I like how in her vision she’s pregnant with her and Jim’s kid
This is perfect. Cant stop listening. I hope he starts a Music Career. I would buy all Songs. His Voice is awesome
Did someone noticed the line in the song "Better than ever!" at 3:51 in the video. If you listen closely you can hear it. If you haven't noticed it yet.
I saved the Klingon part as my ringtone.
What a wonderful voice!
Who would have guest the best this years musical would be a Star Trek Episode. Love this episode, ant this my fv song. :D
This is the episode (even more than 'Those Old Scientists') where the SNW showrunners demonstrated that they 'get it'. Star Trek is never going to be The Expanse or BSG, they contain a level of gravitas that simply is not Star Trek. Taking Roddenberry's love child in that direction takes it away from the pure fun of it's 60's television roots. The reboot movies & the gawdawful Discovery are pew-pew festivals targeting an audience that wasn't alive for TOS, and even the wildly popular DS9, takes itself way too seriously. But SNW strikes a balance that we haven't seen for 60 years. The Gorn are an existential threat, but episodes are interspersed with less dire entries. I was 12 years old when the original series aired, and SNW is the hard hit of nostagia I've been waiting for. I think Gene is looking down, pleased that someone finally understands.
For me the core of Star Trek is the philosophical questions, moral dilemmas, and progressive social commentary. I don't mind it going darker a la Babylon 5 or DS9. The problem I have with the Kelvin timeline, Discovery and Picard is that they don't use intelligent dialogue and arguments to convince us nor leave us interesting question to think about. They just tell us those are bad guys and resolve the conflict by shooting, punching, or decapitating.
Captain Christopher Pike breaking the fourth wall looking at the viewers after the Klingon boy band: "Well THAT was something..."
Muchisimas gracias por tu cancion interpretada de una forma tan expectacular 👏👏👏👏👏👏
The Klingon ships were acting as backup dancers to the Enterprise. You know Spock had to drink extra blood wine over that.
This storyline is tired. Please give Nyota a life. She is a glorified phone operator.
This show misses the mark on lighting. The lighting in TOS was well done. These folks are trying. They just do too much.
This episode has really opened up areas of the heart that music seems to clearly pierce so effectively. It is amazing how music seems to elevate thoughts and feelings and lets them become expressed in song. This had some very personal and funny moments. Excellent idea on the quantum field loop.
Love this, it often goes through my thoughts in a loop.
Does anyone else imagine the universe on the other side of the breach, where a parallel crew are *mystified* at all the singing they're not doing? Maybe someone tries improvising something, but there's no background music, they can't compose lyrics on the fly and their thin, pitchy voice just peters out after a few awkward seconds. To make this horrible silence go away, they stand around in a group discussing the weather.
Should have slipped in the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
Its pretty catchy
