Keef actually started making Beats in Late 2013, the first time he revealed he made Beats was in December 2013 when he posted a Snippet for “Trust My Gun” syaing he made that beat
do u need a editor?
Nah, im good bro
My favorite beat he did was 4 tadoe n yatchy "Get it bussin"
Haaaaard!🔥
this was a cool vid but idk how this makes him a top 10 producer of all time
I feel you. Maybe I should've gone deeper and explained that better. Appreciate the feedback!
@@thebrokeboi it would be better fr the video if u play the song when u mention it. more entertaining, more viewer retention = more watchtime = more views = more money
Damn i didnt even know cheif keef were a producer too
same
Yessir!💪
Lol you can brand and make all the colorful thumbnails you want. If the beats are mediocre you ain’t going anywhere
I been at it for 6 months, near the second month I was getting good traction. But since then my views have declined and my channel isn’t doing that well, any thoughts??
all facts, true words 🔥
Also, I've been trying to build relationships with smaller artists, but its hard to find them, any advice on finding singers or rappers on YT?
I think you gotta go where the artists are. And when it comes to hiphop, majority are on IG! Check any pages that do promo and they'll post tons of artists every day.
What do you think about Tainy, Reggaeton music. He's one of my idols when it comes to beat making.
It started out as a hobby in my breaks at work, and it still is, just now I'm sharing what I make. Not really trying to be a 1% just having a good time trying things out and experimenting with sounds. If I get lucky, cool. I'm not quiting my day job though. 😂
That's how it always starts haha! Enjoy the process and good luck!
@thebrokeboi thank you, I appreciate the encouragement. I notice how I've improved since I started. I use FL Studio Mobile. However, I do hope to get the PC version eventually.
Just started mine! Thank you for such useful tips 🤝🏻
Happy to help!
Thank you for this great advice man!!!🙏🙏
thank you for watching!
i dont get this, you say consistency is key but your channel actually grow when you STOPPED being consistent with dababy and you started with SPOTTED, so... what if you only uploaded sSPOTTED on the frist place and you saved the first 2 years of grinding? I mean im not saying you are wrong, and costintency IS key, but it sounds like you were trying to push a niche that wasnt working for you or for you beats or your branding, and then you found a niche that did work. hehe much love!
You're right! While the consistency itself didn't stop, I did switch focus. I don't believe the SPOTEM beats would have had traction if I tried them first. That's mostly because he wasn't a popular rapper when DaBaby was gaining traction. I hopped on the SPOTEM wave shortly after Beatbox went viral.
⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
nope, I bought Fl and slowly built my studio from the start, studied daily and practiced until i was ready to start showing people
That's dope bro! Keep going!
I paid 450$ for a song collab man, with a platinum beatmaker/artist, been 4 months I got no news 🥲
That sucks bro. 9 times out of 10, collabs aren't really a great investment tbh
Hey, Question. Would putting extra similiar artistes also in the title making it work less well for Spottemgottem (Using your situation as an example) or would it not affect that search but also allow for search for second keyword?
I've wondered that as well. I don't have a solid answer for this, but i've seen beats with both types of titles be extremely successful. Personally, my most successful beats either focused on 1 specific artist, or worded the title in the following way: (FREE) Spotemgottem Type Beat - (beat name) | Free (similar artist) Type beat To me, the keywords seem separated that way lmao
Would it be okay to upload 2 types of genre as niches? I‘d love to make RnB and Afrobeats my niche but I‘m not sure about that
That's a good question. That could definitely work for the audience who are both into RnB and Afrobeats, but it might be harder for you to be able to build a solid subscriber base that understands that.
I think you’d be better off making 2 different channels
@@bjs9648 Started my 2 type beats channels last week. Since I‘m only uploading 2 Beats a week I think it will take a while until I gather some attention but at least I got all my beats scheduled up until almost August already
I live by a hospital, if you could just let em d- 😂😂
Great video
Thank you!
DID YOU COPYRIGHT ALL THOSE BEATS BEFORE YOU UPLOADED THEM
I haven't registered them with the Copyright Office. But some of them were registered through a 3rd party content id system.
I grinded for 2 years and made my first sale and stress has just took a toll on me. I feel like I just have to be the next metro boomin or Skrillex to make it in the industry. I feel like talking to good people helps but what helps more is getting rid of negativity until you can handle it.
I feel you on that. The good thing is, there's so many different ways you can go about it nowadays, and finding success as a music producer is more doable than ever. It can be really hard though when we're constantly comparing ourselves to others (even subconsciously) and feeling like we would never be able to compete with them.. Hang in there though, one step at a time!
I hate the niche thing its forced be to start 2 diff channels based on beeing capable of making all genres i almost need 3 😂😂
I feel you on that. A lot of producers do that bro!
but yo! non of your beats got 1 million views...
Yessir, you are correct! None of my beats by themselves have 1 million views. My channel as a whole, does.
you said nothing, just like everyone else. I'm really sorry. you angered me bro. consistency doesn't work.
Sorry for angering you 💔 I am open to hearing what your strategy for growth is, if consistency is not part of it...
Great information! Thank you Brokeboi! ❤🙏
Thank you for watching!
Thank you 👍🏾
No problem!
Any update on this?
Unfortunately, hasn't been placed yet, as far as I know! 😂
There is so mamy videos telling how to grow beat Type channel, that it is becoming confusing. Guys with 2000subs are telling how to grow to 1000000. How to belive IT?
True. People who do not have much experience in music production tell us how to create, mix and master music. They don't have any success
You can get 1M views with 2000 subs. Subs don't equal views. My beat channel got a million views when I was around 5k subs.
Its kinda sad that you have to niche, i wanna make all kinds of genres
Same here 🥲 The way I see it from experience, artists find our channels and then just ask for beats that aren’t even related to our niche. I just have those other beats saved for them
I feel you. I mean, technically, you don’t have to stick to a niche, its just that based on what has worked for people in the past, niching down helps with views and channel growth.
@@thebrokeboi for sure! very great video man! I’m trying to get big here on yt but it’s SO much harder than on Instagram. I guess I was lucky with the algorithms on Instagram. But your video helped a lot🙏👊
Man you don't need to niche if you want. Look yogic beats or prodbypilot, they produce many genres and styles but they have something in common. Is have an aesthetic standard of your type beat channel. And most important don't try hard to make beats like others, put your own style, new artist want to sound like other artist, but true artist who want to go far want a unique and fresh sound that they can make their own. That type beat titles in youtube only are for get views you don't need to make beats, exactly like other artist.
but you can manage several niches and upload them to beatstars, and on TH-cam only one specific one, in fact if your TH-cam audience enters your Beatstars profile they will be able to see that you have more content🚀
facts
💯💯
u should start a new type beat channel, urs is dead lol
Hmm I might!🤔
@@thebrokeboi youtube channels are just a tool, if it’s broken u need a new one. i can guarantee you that if you upload the same videos on a new channel then you’ll be getting more views after 2 months then what ur getting rn
There's more.... Thanks thanks thanks for the video!!
Yessir! Thank you for watching!
I rate that bro thanks 🙏
I’m glad you found it helpful!
All of the things ppl say about the one percent is always proven wrong when the artists xareer is over. Its pay to play and how well you can kisss ass.

Buying fl studio definitely made me take lesrning the process waaaay more seriously.

yep, when i cracked omnisphere on my old laptop i never really learned how to use it and then just forgot about it, vs now where, having paid for it, it's become one of the most important parts to my toolkit.

even if i make music that can make a super sucessful producer, i'll still feel like shit if i dont like what i make.
