My father and I decided to add extensions onto an old 10x10 shed in the woods to create more space for a bigger project we have been working on. Our plans, however, were cut short because of the winter weather. We'll begin on the interior come spring.

After getting settled away, we began renovating this moose camp located deep in the Long Range Mountains of Newfoundland. We used a portable chainsaw mill for all of the cribbing. While the rest of the materials were flown in with floatplane. Unfortunately, my time was cut short. I left before the final stages were complete.

Before flying in to help renovate part of a moose camp located deep in the Long Range Mountains of Newfoundland, we made a last minute overnight trip into a section of river I've never fished before. Although it was later in the season and the bigger fish had moved on, the grilse were still there swimming about and willing to put up a solid fight.

Hey Keith, both were mine, but the one I was wearing is from Long Range Outdoors. Used it all fall while guiding, great pack and no issues! The older one, the clips snapped and the straps never stayed secure.
I enjoy your videos,Keep it up!! I noticed you guided with my brother Anthony. If you ever get a chance to do a video on deboning or caping the moose (how to video) that would be sweet!

Guided in there many moons ago for 4 falls, no argos then and used a cb radio to call out lol
Well done, I started guiding 43 years ago. Due to recent health issues I might be finished guiding in remote wilderness camps forever. I have severe sleep apnea and require a CPAP machine while sleeping. Since being on the machine I feel like a new man, rested and ready for adventures. So James, my advice to you is enjoy every last minute of your adventures out there, because one day you're wake up to your last time at it. I envy you younger folks just starting out, today you are able to video record all your adventures where most of mine are just stored in my memory banks... I've only ever had one bad client in all my years. You'll run into some who will try and guide the guide, when this happens, a good long day walking in the tuckamores brings them around in a hurry. Trust your instincts and be safe out there. Control when they can chamber a round at all times. Being Ex military I have seen highly trained individuals have accidental discharges. So make it clear at the beginning of every hunt, you'll tell them when to chamber a round and only you. Looking forward to seeing where you're adventures take you on your journey....
You are completely right and I appreciate the advice! Not only age, but with whatever is going on, it might only be a matter of time before it's hard to have such untouched areas to roam freely.
I've never guided and too late for me now my old self abused back over the years is catching up on me, if I was anew guy starting out Charlie I'd definitely be looking to you for advice especially calling techniques. Hope that sleep apnea doesn't keep you from the woods that you love my buddy , only the camps ....maybe a portable power unit ?? This is my first video of his I'm watching he's definitely got a great channel started here looking forward to following another brother from the rock.
