@@Bessiemay555 I’m in Georgia and we do have a postal problem that has made the news. However, besides Ipsy, I’m getting my other mail timely.

Matte vs Shimmer is a matter of personal preference. For me, I feel Like a shimmer helps brighten and lift my eyes. I look at shimmers like a look enhancer. I don’t overdo eyeshadow. I use colors that typically pick up the color clothing I’m wearing. I use mattes too but generally only in the eyelid crease to add depth.

I don’t think my original one will ever show up. Only a label created 9/10 and then nothing.

Who knows what I’ll eventually end up with. When this happens, and they finally make the decision to resend, even the power picks, choice items and boosts may be out of stock so they substitute with items they have in hand. It’s disappointing because I’m expecting one thing and get another. But, generally the items are comparable. If you didn’t get the boost, contact them for a resend or refund for what you paid. They eventually try to make things right. What really irritates me is that in the last 3 years, this has happened to me 10 times between Icon boxes, the Boxycharm/Ipsy Plus or the Glam Bag. They really won’t do anything to help until it hits the last week of the month and there’s no movement. But, the pattern has always been that if there is no movement for a week then there isn’t going to be movement at all. I haven’t had trouble with them since April. I’m not sure if this instance is entirely them because the metro area where I live is having a mail distribution issue that is in the national news. Packages get there and never leave. But, my glam bags came just fine and so has everything else from other sellers. To me, that points back at Ipsy, like never sending the package.

@@bettyvick2850 that cleanser is so thick the dispenser wasn’t going to ever work that well anyway. They should have just put it in a tube like their other cleanser.

@@Kaybeautyfinds Ever since I started taking tamoxifen after breast cancer, I have become such a fumble fingers. Neuropathy is a common side effect of this drug. So, if I had to take the pump mechanism out to get access to the cleanser it would be all over the shower. 😂😂😂

@@sherryhenley3327 it smells great. I used it this morning,, it did leave my hair feeling stripped. So, I made sure to use a hydrating conditioner. I’ll use it all. I tend to have conditioners left over from sets and I’ll just use those to keep the dryness away. I prefer to get shampoo and conditioner combos

It seems to stay on better than other stick or cream blushes.

@@Kaybeautyfinds Hopefully I will receive my box soon. I usually set cream blushes with a very pale powder blush which helps with longevity. ☺️

@@lyndsayryor well, I guess that is what I paid for it. Thats still better than the $49 retail price and I like it alot. With this box, there was a lot of confusion.

@@Kaybeautyfinds Yes, there certainly was. For me, the lip oil made the box worth it. I hope Chic gets back on their feet - I think they ran into some hard times, maybe :)

@@lisaaustin4561 I doubt they are going to change it because it is their signature look. It certainly is plain and makes it seem like a masculine product.

@@retiredmom2947 I’m wearing my silver hoops today. They are nice but I had to adjust the latch mechanism because it wasn’t tight enough. That night cream is incredible. It doesn’t take alot.

@@jennileealex I didn’t notice that as much with the blush. I haven’t tried it with a setting spray. I will say though that without a setting spray it stayed in well. I have to work to not pick up too much product on the brush

@@Kaybeautyfinds Received my box today, it’s identical to yours, as I chose the same pallet! I’ll get wear out of the red lipstick. It’s a nice cool tone red for my skin! The blush is beautiful! Tried it today and nowhere near as powdery as the bronzer/contour from last month. Thanks for your video! Enjoyed throughly!

@@amandagiannini3503 I ordered two last month and was glad I did. I decided to only get the one this time. The red lipstick is quite bright. A liner is needed because it tends to to bleed. For me, the red was too bright so I’ve blotted it and put a pink lipgloss on top to tone it down.

@@LPoper yes, the El Camino looked like a better option for me. However, I’ve liked other pallets I got from the box better because I like a mix of color and then light shades for my inner eye lid and under the brow bone. So, I have to use another pallet. Some of my favorite eye shadow palettes have come from the Eyescream box

@@GhosstRyder I think it is a nice contouring pallet for fair or light skin. The formula is very nice - pigmented and not overly powdery. The red lipstick is pretty. I prefer blue red over orange red. I’d suggest a lip liner because this lipstick tends to smear and bleed. I’ve never had to contact Eyescream for customer service but I can relate to your frustration having had to deal with Ipsy customer service many times over the years. Ipsy has improved their service a lot over the last year. Eyescream is a much smaller company so they probably don’t have enough staff. I used to get Slay but cancelled in February because they were running 60 days late shipping and were not responsive. The quality of the products except Just Anne’s annual palette wasn’t there. Those can be bought direct from her for a limited time so I’m just gonna do that each year now. I hope you get the Eyescream palette you want this month.
