It uses the same drive system as all CVT scooters. A dry belt drive system on the left side with a dry centrifugal clutch, connected to an oil filled geared rear hub. Totally conventional in every way. These things are pretty heavy for their Chinese 150cc GY6 engine. A Genuine Buddy 125 will run circles around it.
