Super accurate 10/10
You can't race Indycars at Talladega! That would cause... death.
If they raced at Talladega, they'd have to use the road course
I dont see any problem here..
This is amazing, totally worth the 45 seconds of watch time + time to comment.
About the dumbest video I have ever seen in my life.
They raced at Michigan Superspeedway for a while, and the speeds there are even more insane.
Forget Michigan, they can’t even race at a place like Las Vegas because of the flat out speed and Gs. I was at the last Vegas race, and as an in person spectator I really hope they stay away from there permanently. I love my city, and love Indycar, but for safety they need to stay the hell away from Nellis…
@@arendrollo The one and only reason why Vegas wasn't safe for Indycar is because Indycar had the bright idea to have an aero package that produced full throttle pack racing... in open wheel cars... It was going to be a disaster no matter what. Modern cars would produce good racing there without being absurdly unsafe.
very good animation
Actual reason is because the banking is much more steeper than it is at indianapolis. That in combination with general higher speeds would lead to many drivers fainting due to high g forces
They'd have the horsepower turned way down. Wouldn't be any faster than at Indianapolis.
@@RobertDetertBecause we can totally turn down G-Forces with a switch, right? Let me just call up NASA and tell them we found a new astrophysicist... :/ Speed isn't the issue, it's literally the banking. You don't want drivers to pass out at Talladega during an indy car race? I hope you're prepared for the slowest race in series history.
@@Deadsphere if you go slower g forces drop so yes you can "turn down" g force with a knob or a pedal, Mr Zerostein.
@@nicksterl.2133 The banking is still too high. You'd still be running these cars at like 50-100mph just to avoid the drivers passing out. So unless if you want the slowest Indycar race EVER, at the nation's fastest oval, sure, go right on ahead. It's really not that fucking simple.
@@Deadsphere yes, it is simple - you were making a point that there's no link between speed and g force. Now you're classifying it and creating different scenario.
I beg to disagree
Less likely to crash at Talladega than at Indy in my opinion.
But if they do, skyward and potentially over catch fencing. No thanks
Given the characteristics of Indycars, after like 5 laps you'd end up seeing 4-5 wide grid lock at 240+ mph until someone makes a slight mistake and you start seeing cars launching out of the track.
Wow! Seriously? A VIDEO GAME?
Oh yerah, a game tells you the reason...
YOU ALRIGHT?
