Divorce Support Ep 23: The Problems of Divorce
Separated 18 years ago, still haven't let go. I've taken the 10 week course, the self-test. I'm not sure I'll ever be over her.
In the process of reading Hold Me Tight. It is difficult to listen to for me because I hear things I could have done better. I hear these conversations with a counselor that we should have been having and maybe have saved my marriage. It makes me sad.
I am “stuck” here. I don’t want to admit this concept of being “stuck”. She is a wonderful, beautiful woman who really gets the psychology of where we were and why it didn’t work. She is going back to school for her Masters in Psychology so I have to believe that she knows what she is talking about. She’s been remarried since our divorce and subsequently divorced. I want her, I still say I love her to myself almost daily. I have her emails where she has described it to me and I’ve converted them from text to speech. I say it’s to remind myself, sometimes I think it’s to punish myself. I am so sorry for hurting her so deeply.
I'd like to learn more about the 10-week seminar.. is it interactive? Is there group sharing to connect with others?
