@@BricktasticIdeas Thanks! :D
Great throughout and some of the longer shots are breathtaking 👍
@@Robukka Thanks! :)
I am in process of making a military MOCs with minidolls. I think they will be great for military themes. Because their body is more human-like, plate carries on them look better Also I have new Wicked and Wednesday sets, and hope that we will see more non-friends themes with minidoll(I like lego friends sets, but I think that minidolls have some fashion problem, because their outfits look childish). And I have Mega Monster High doll, they have accessories like bracelets on wrists, and because hands on minidolls is bar size, it's possible to use it, same with neck
@@applebloom3510 That’s an interesting perspective, I would like to see the MOC!
This is super creative!
@@80bear3 Thanks!
I read it. It is AMAZING; absolutely love the genre/genres, lots of thought-provoking ideas. It had me reading multiple chapters before taking breaks because of all the cliff hangers and suspense.

Can't wait to finish reading it!❤
Is there any way to get this book without giving money to Amazon?
@poncut5074 Amazon is the only place to purchase it for now.
If that’s the case, when can one approximately expect it to be out for other platforms?
@poncut5074 I'm not sure if it ever will be since I published it there. I may resell some copies in person, but unless we happen to cross paths irl, you're out of luck. :/
Congratulations! Woop woop! Proud of you baby!🎉
@@farmerbelle Thanks for being my illustrator. :)
@@joshuanelsonanimations Anytime!✨
did you get a publisher or did you publish it yourself?
@@ErikTongStudios I published it myself through Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing).
This is great comparison video! Às a female adult collector, I do like mini dolls, especially for licensed characters like Disney. I'm excited for Wednesday and Wicked. I like the molded details. I wonder what Harry Potter mini dolls would look like since that is my main collection. For animation I am most impressed with the Mega Contructs figure. That said, I don't think clasic mini figures are going to go away entirely. Star Wars and Harry Potter ŵill probably stay as mini figures cause theres so many already.
@amandanelson3345 Minifigures are never going away entirely, they're too iconic! I know some people have tried making minidoll versions of themes with minifigures, like Harry Potter and Ninjago. Both figures are good in their own way.
@@joshuanelsonanimationsooh! Send or show me the HP ones!
@@amandanelson3345 Like this: th-cam.com/video/CMUZI55Ch24/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oXyIHs-p-5gRSz9C This channel has a lot of minidoll-related stuff.
@@joshuanelsonanimationsThanks!
There's a TH-camr called Brickomotion who used to paint custom Harry Potter Minidolls. @@amandanelson3345
they look like anime so they're cool to use in anime themed stop motions
@rioforce For sure! I like how you used a minidoll in your MECH brickfilm. I feel like it was a smart use of the figure since she pilots a mech, so you don’t need to make her walk as much.
Hi Joshua! I just finished rewatching your series up to this point! Just wondering though when you plan on releasing Episode 2? I think you should take as much time as you need. Believe me, I'm taking my own time with my own series based on the wall crawler. I'm just really excited for more!
I've already started episode 2, but I had to put a pause on it to work on other projects, like a horror film that has taken almost a whole year to make. Once that's finished, however, I plan on finishing the episode and eventually making more to complete the series. I'm glad you like it though! I might check out your series as well. :)
It is subway haha
@@Jedindy Even the stickers show the ingredients themselves as separate menu items. 😂
Like the colors of the overall build and mini builds in it. Looks like it could be a pretty useful set for stop motions as well. Good review.
@TXZ_Official I could see it in a brickfilm for sure! I'm just going to part mine out though.
I like this set. It's so cute! I like the 1st and last mini dolls especially. Also the evil cat! What do you think he did? I like your pointer! Looking forward to your opinions on mini dolls!
@@amandanelson3345 The minidoll video is looking a lot longer than I thought it would be. 😅
Glad it doesn’t come with a Jared minidoll
@@Frontier8637 I feel like you're referencing something, but I'm not quite sure what it is. 😅
I think this is a useful video for someone contemplating getting the set. Nice review!
@amandanelson3345 Oh, definitely. Although I wouldn't necessarily consider it a review, it's more like a showcase of sorts.

I could be wrong, but i think thats tasha, from tashas cauldron of everything. The book, is her spell book. It contains tashas hideous laughter, her own spell.
@@Runedremora Good to know! I thought it was a laugh potion because of the cauldron included, but it makes sense that it's a spell.

i think that the lego astronaut from 2019 space series is the best. but this cool NGL
@Dwmonhunter_plays Fun fact about that... turns out the figures are very similar, especially the arm printing! It makes me wonder if TLG intended for the new one to be an updated version.

The atmosphere and set building are incredible! This is definitely one of the most impressive brickfilms I’ve ever seen from a set design perspective. The destruction and the foliage all just feel… so right. The end is exciting, and it all felt like a breeze despite being 12 minutes. The title sequence feels like it will become iconic as well. A mix of live action footage is a neat experiment, but it didn’t really work for me though. Perhaps if you had limited the frame rate to match the animation the two might have worked better together, but to me it never quite felt like the two segments existed in the same space. Nevertheless, this is very impressive work. Congrats on placing so highly in the contest!
@AnimatorUnknown Thanks! Perhaps I could've fixed a few things in the edit, but with the limited time frame, that just wasn't possible. I'm still happy with the final product, though! ^-^
I love this

7:16 damn bro you really need to cut those nails, great film anyway
Incredible attention to detail. the techniques used, using a Mega Construx figure and the switch from brick to real life, like breathing fresh air for the first time. Funny, I once thought of if I was ever interested in stopmotion, I would’ve love to implement real life shots into a brick film and you’ve done it so well. It’s exactly what I imagined! Bravo! Fantastic job man 👍
@@J0kerHecz Thanks! I hope you get to make a film like that too. :)
Oh this was pretty impressive. 12 minutes of awesomeness indeed. The set design was superb as well. Good job, man and good luck with the contest!
@@starwarsstudio100 Thanks!
It’s insane that you made this in a week, with the awesome sets and complex camera motion. This is really good, good luck in the contest!
I have never seen a brickfilm like this. This is just… so unique. They way you mixed in the live action shots with the Lego scenes really added to the detail and realism. This whole story is very mysterious as well! The whole time, I was trying to figure out why the city was abandoned, so seeing pieces of information get picked up throughout the story created an intriguing ending! Oh, and the techniques you used like the arm for the frog leaping, or the iron man hand blasters for the fountain were a truly spectacular chefs kiss. All in all, this has honestly got to be one of, if not the best brickfilm I have ever seen! 11/10. Perfection. 👌
@@Viggoroussen Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ^-^
