Some ambulances are called rescue…
In my district there called rescues and in bloomingtons district they are called medics

Love the vid. Ladder could use more middle lighting, as a retired ff. Just saying front and back ok, middle is kinda saying hit me.
I see what you mean by that. But yea it does need a little more emergency lighting on the sides

@@Midwestfirephoto Awesome. l was there in the 80s. Jeff Feasley is a cousin to my brother's first wife. We also worked the Unity Building fire with Jeff and the crew from this station. I agree it is also my favorite Normal Station. We also trained under Chief Cermak. I also have a Facebook group to help fiction authors write authentic fire rescue and arson in their fiction stories. I have shared the videos with the group. Looking forward to future videos. Thanks keep up the good work.

Siren looks like a Q2B, but that's not a Q2B, unless its extremely underpowered. Sounds like a far older siren.
I don’t know the exact model of the siren from the quint. But yes it does sound very underpowered. It might be a Q2B but I could be wrong.
@@Midwestfirephoto Id say either Q2A, or the siren isn't getting enough juice to rotate fast enough on startup. A good catch all around though.
They did some work on the Q2B siren so that’s why it sounds so unpowered

Should’ve been a quicker response. Usually it takes them 10 seconds to get out of the station
It's "only" an EMS run.
No. It was probably a car accident since if it was just a medical run they wouldn’t have had the turn out gear on. It probably required a ambulance and a engine
