Waterproof Ethernet Connector System RJ45, IP67, PoE
High-quality #waterproof #IP67 RJ45 Ethernet Connector System by QuWireless (www.quwireless.com) guaranteed waterproofing of the connection on the enclosure. That solution is universal for #M20 standard hole. It can be used to almost every outdoor enclosure where Ethernet cable is necessary. The #RJ45adapter has #shielded and #short-body RJ45 connector. It performs also #D-cut on the M20 thread to block the adapter against twisting during the installation. Great stuff for #PoE supply.
The system comes in two lenght versions: 380mm (14,96'') or 160mm (6,3'').

Is the Wi-Fi would be transmitted through the antenna? I'm planning to put the antenna very high, how would I receive the WiFi?

Would this type of omni directional antenna be more effective over your directional where tree's and hill's are concerned with no line of sight?
Hi Michael, If you live in a rural area with poor signal strenght, you will get better results using directional antenna (QuMax). However, for best performance you have to make sure it's pointed torwards the signal tower.

Should there be a lightning arrestor inline with the uplink to the wired router to avoid downstream electrical damage during any unexpected lightning strikes?
You would be better off unplugging the one cable during a storm, the wires are thin leaving it on a plate should be enough the stop any charge.
@@shanerorko8076That's not enough to stop an electrical arc. Air-gapped electronics would still be impacted, as dozens to hundreds of TH-cam videos have shown before, where lightning strikes jumps from wall to unplugged appliance to other unplugged appliances nearby.
@fullsleevetats yea but a wall socket is 20amp wire whereas cat5 is like 500 miliamps, you're not going to get lighning coming down that much more than 1000w.
@@shanerorko8076You may want to refresh your understanding of the damage coming across Cat5 and Cat6 cables, because it can reach significantly higher current ranges. Just 30 seconds with Google brings up plenty of detailed science on the matter.
