Nice try. Especially for a two-day project. Nice idea for a film / story. Constructive Critique for future projects, and filmmakers watching/learning: Your lighting left MUCH to be desired. (just because you have a "low-light" camera does not mean you do not need lighting; couldn't see too much too dark footage) Use of out-of-focus was random, unnecessary, nonsensical, hurt the imagery, and was irritating/annoying. Vehicles were too "today" for Year 2187. (hurts believability, story, film, etc. -- especially at end; i.e., "don't do 2187 if you can't do 2187 'correctly' ") It looks like you did the best you could editing-wise with what you shot, so good job on that. Overall it almost clears the "That's Five Minutes of My Life I'm Never Going To Get Back" rule. Just barely. Keep up the good work.

There's a lot to like about this film and a few things that would have improved it. Not telling us the specific year would have been a big plus. Overall, really nice work.

Not sure why folks are knocking this. It's a lot better than a ton of crappy shorts out there. Acting was taken seriously and good. It's not just some bratpack kids goofing around in camo that we see in other's.

BB guns make a poor weapon in the post apocalyptic world.

Any writer who adds a "duct-taped-scope" to the prop list has obviously never used a scope or a rifle. You would basically be guaranteed to miss every shot.

WOW! 2187 and the 1990's gas guzzling fossil-fueled cars are still running after almost 200 years (eat your heart out climate change activists)? It must have had all of it's 3,000 mile oil changes. I wonder how many mile it has racked up. No George Jetson cars that fly?? Who says that today's cars are a piece of junk? Video so dark, who can see what is happening. I have seen better acting in a pre-schoolee's play, The award that this film received was worse film ever, in a field of only one film in the running.
