Hello do some screens not allow addition of external cameras as I don’t have the plus sign and it won’t allow addition of cameras

what if i have some cameras connected to the NVR and some connected to the POE switch

Quick question when you take your hard drive out of your security system how much trouble is it to read that drive on another computer?

Dont believe its as simple as that because we had someone come in an install our system and the company no longer exists. Howevr, we suddenly got an issue with accessing our cameras from outside the home using ivms4200 app. when we install hikconnect it tells us that we have to unbind the system yet it points to the companiys email address and they dont exist. how do we solves this issue without replacing the NVR

@SSRTradingLtd - What would be the best way for a DIY installer to purchase Hikvision if we can't buy directly from someone like yourself as we're not trading? Would we have to buy from an installer and have them add their percentage on top of the price?

Also we need to make sure that the stream encryption is disabled either in the NVR or the camera itself . One thing that I noticed is and it does not mention in any manuals is the number of characters for the camera's password which in the indoor station is limited to 12 characters whilst in the SADP activation tool is 16 characters so make sure you don't go over the limit as you'll get a username/password error 😉

Are all Hikvision NVRs compatible? Which one shall you suggest to purchase? Thanks

Hi mate, I have an AcuSense DVR (IDS-7208HUHI) and I'm using the Hik Connect App to connect it. But there is an issue with the app which is I cannot disarm/arm the motion alarm through it. Is there any solution for it?

With some hilook dvrs they don't give you an option to unbind from dvr is sadp the way forward With them tpp
