I have a 30 quart mixing bowl hobart stainless i purchased on facebook last summer for $60.00. in the fall I had a local company make a frame that cost $250.00 made of 1x1 aluminium. Then I bought a burner for $35.00 from amazon. I purchased a bin from Canadian Tire for $15.00 cut A 9x15 inch hole in the bottom zip tied a piece of aluminium that I drilled holes in for A sifter. been doing kettle corn all summer. 3 cups of corn 1.5 cups of oil and 1.5 cups of sugar i'm in Canada

I ending up going in a different direction with my businesses! I still think its a viable business that is worth trying for those who are interested though. the biggest problem I came into what packaging and shipping once I got the bulk orders of cans

Would treating this like cast iron be an option for care? Burning the finish down to metal and re seasoning it?
I mean, I can't be 100 percent sure. But I would say that kind of naturally happens is you make the kettle corn as far as the seasonings kind of burning down and becoming a coating. So I guess yes in theory

Thanks for posting this. I’m starting an energy drink company and don’t know where to start. Is there a roadmap for how to do this? I spoke with a company that can do everything for me but they cost 50k and I’m not sure I’m willing to spend that.
@@sliskolitas Drink Labs is the company. I did my research and they are legit. But it's a lot of money for me. Might be worth it though. Was hoping to get your thoughts.

I would recommend going the used route like I did. But I suppose you could start with a large pot, but it would be extremely time consuming and I wouldn't recommend it. Also keep in mind with sugary flavors (like kettle corn) its essential that you stir the whole time some everything is coated when it's done, that means you'd need something like a whirlypop that allows you to mix it while it's on the stove. Goodluck!

What’s the potential monthly profit you could make with this kettle corn business?
There isn't really a ceiling on how much you can earn. Just depends on how much popcorn your willing to sell and how much time your willing to spend. The guy I bought my first kettle from had 8 other kettles and was running a good sized operation where he was doing events and wholesale and he was making 165k+ annually. Id say a solo operation if you went full time you could easily see 60k maybe 80 once you have a solid base of reliable clients. Not a get rich quick scheme, but a surefire way to earn additional income if you grind.

@@Legsmagee831 first off keep searching for suppliers that will do small quantities to start you out with. It's probably too expensive right now because they are making you buy large quantities of product upfront. Find someone to run you a small batch (250-500 bags maybe?) Any artwork or bag designs u can get done for cheap and to start out marketing should be free if u use a similar technique to what I used in this video.

@@Legsmagee831 that's where I would start, yeah! Also suggest getting some general liability insurance and a business license. But that shouldnt be to hard at all. I suspect your total to start (a very bare bones Operation that you can grow) would be $700ish. Best of luck out there! 👍🙏
