I had a "friend" like this. He was an irl friend who moved out of state so we could only talk online on discord amd Xbox. One day he just unfriended everyone and stopped talking. I messaged for WEEKS thinking the worst. He came back almost two months later saying he was "testing friendships". I told him that him doing that sent me into a literally panic attack and depression episode because i thought he took his life. Not even two weeks later, he did it again. So i messaged him one last time saying i hope he enjoyed our friendship because it was over now. Because doing that to someone who can't contact you any other way is just messed up.
