I remember this night....waiting in the queue outside MOS and two coaches full of Frankies entourage of NY's finest freaks arrived and bum-rushed the door (with smiles and laughter mind!). One of the crew made a beeline to me and asked "how much they charging?", 25 quid I replied "too much! give me 5 and walk in with me" DONE! - straight in! As I remember it the HOT-FM broadcast was only part of 4-5 set... I remain a major House Head at 54 y/o and i'm STILL searching for one or two tunes from the extended set! Thanks for the memories! was it 91 or 92? yes a lot of these tunes were released in 92, but a few of the promos are from 91 - and that's what Frankie would have been breaking at the time, so not so sure.

There were a number of great DJs at the time. But Frankie Knuckles stood above them all. I can say Frankie was truly The Godfather of House music.

En tant que professionnel de la musique contemporaine japonaise, je peux affirmer que ce groupe de musique est grandement moins rythmique et aggressif que certains travaux innovateurs comme Cianide - A Descent Into Hell ainsi que Suffocation - Pierced from Within. Ceci étant dit, cela n'empêche pas d'avoir droit à une cacophonie tout droit sortie du local de pratique de gamins apprenant la gamme de Do Majeur Catostrophique. Somme toute, un album ma foi très relaxant, et j'en profiterai pour glisser tout doucement que j'ai pris avantage de cette écoute pour faire des sushis.
