15:36 we’ve been there. F*ck.
I’m glad we have Allen and company bringing that same excitement 👍🏼👍🏼
Don't mess with my Bills!
I really think Flutie could’ve taken the bills all the way
The Bills are going for their 7th win of the season this Sunday. And it’s against Miami in Buffalo.
Yes we are indeed!
I was at this game!
Suggestion for next week vs MIA: November 14 1999 Week 10
Enjoy!! th-cam.com/video/cA5TOZ8m4ec/w-d-xo.html
I was reminded of this hail Mary today after watching the Commanders hail Mary against the Bears on television.
OJ was and will always be the best runningback in 1970's
*WELCOME TO BUFFALO,* Amari!
Need to do that to mahomes
At his peak, OJ was the greatest running back of all time.
McClelland could go
The start of the fight is hilarious. Obvious holding penalty to start it by Maguire.
What a terrible announcer. Steve is always good but who the hell is this snooze fest?
Shout out to the sabres winning as well on that night!
Why was this game played at huskee stadium? And was Seattle still in the afc at that time?
First: they had the baseball stadium built for the Mariners, and this gave the Seahawks an out to determine that "we'll play our games at Husky Stadium and let the Kingdome be flattened so a new football stadium can be built." And, yes... the Seahawks were in the AFC West at the time.
JP Losman sighting 👀
I traveled form California to Seattle for this game. Fun times. Go Bills!
great memories ah!
Imagine Josh Allen with Moulds?
And he punished the bills for the next 20 years for that 😂
Football was so much better then.
Not many YAC yards back then
That fake QB sneak is what I will always remember about this game
Flutie was droppin dimes this game. On a sidenote, this old espn broadcasting crew was great. I was young in this time period, but they're classic.
Eric Moulds was a beast!
Brings back so many great memories. Loved Doug Flutie!
Willis McGahee's Al Bundy game
Not the rare Jerry Rice Seahawks sighting 😂
Ha ha ha.. I went to this game. What a whuppin'! Wore a nice big Bills jacket and a guy in the restroom high fived me, saying "Who said so? Bledsoe!". Kinda corny but still awesome. We left early to beat traffic (and my folks were probably depressed, hah) and on the way out we could continue to hear Buffalo success/Seattle miscues over the PA. Always felt bad for Bledsoe that he didn't have better offensive lines in front of him.
Moulds and allen would be so unstoppable and moulds never complain
I miss our 1990s buffalo bills uniforms
I loved the 4th and 1 fake; there’s some plays like that I wish the Bills could scheme today
What I remember about this game is.... nothing. I remember not watching because the Bills had just come off a 4 game losing streak right before this W and they were out of the playoffs. IIRC Johnson and Flutie shared the QB duties for several of those games until Flutie took over in week 16... Rob might end been injured I can't remember. So thank you for posting it was fun to watch this
The dark ages
I remember Bills RB William McGahee being quoted that the city of Buffalo was "boring" and that he liked to go to Toronto because there was so much more to do there and it was a much more "exciting" city. The fans in Buffalo literally were "up in arms" over his comments and he ultimately was traded out of town
Great game!!
Moulds is that guy
No wonder they called Rob Johnson Robosack, Jesus sacked over 80 times in his career and not to mention the guy refused to throw the ball away I mean wtf? What the Bills had going with Flutie Ralph Wilson really screwed up putting Johnson in his place. I do believe the Bills probably woulda more than won that playoff game against Tennessee had Flutie started.
Am I the only one who thinks the game looked faster back then?
It was just better football
@@Davidjon1946 I agree, but I just find it strange that players from more than 20 years ago look faster and more explosive than the supposedly bigger, faster, stronger, and overall superior athletes who play the game today. It makes me think that today's players might not be going as hard as they could be, whereas past players were exploding with everything they had on every snap.
Lol kinda but im thinking the playback speed may have been adjusted. I dunno
Players don't go hard anymore. They're half a$sed, afraid to get hurt.
Wow thanks for posting this. I was at this game and my buddy and I snuck down and had great seats for the brawl.
Golden era of the NFL, ESPN was a legitimate sports channel and had a great broadcast!! Thanks for the video👍
My favorite bills memory. Was in third grade and wrote a blurb about it that made it onto the Buffalo News sports section. Still have that
Some of the worst management between 1999 and 2000...along with historically bad special teams both years. Flutie was obviously the superior QB. Proof? Look at the Bills 2001 year.
Right, 3-13😒
@@BillsNoles23 The 2001 game at San Diego settled the "Flutie or Johnson" question; Flutie led the Chargers to a 27-24 win.
Flutie was far and away the better QB. Anyone who says differently either doesn't know squat about football or just plain didn't like him. This video should end all dispute who they should have started in the Tennessee playoff game one year earlier. Had they done so there is a very high chance the Bills would have represented the AFC in that seasons Super Bowl.
Starting Johnson was not Phillips decision. You can tell at his press conference announcing they were going with Johnson that he didn't agree with it. Wilson got involved when he shouldn't have. Flutie was by far superior than Johnson and I have no doubt they would have gone to the Super Bowl. They had a good running game, good defense and the best receiver to wear a Bills uniform in Moulds.
Try telling that to Wilson. Stubborn old man.
@@leengly3127 I would but he's dead.
I don’t think, in the year 2024, that anyone is arguing that Rob Johnson was a better QB over Doug Flutie.
@@smbakeRalph even admitting years later
He got Thurman Thomas Barry sanders mentally act like you been before huh GO BILLS
End of the first drought season and Fluties last game as a Bill
That pass staggered him
Great game!!
