Exactly 💯 Why would you remove the valve stem b4 the tire? Clearly a Novice, perhaps a student reciting his education. If so kudos to you. However this video should be corrected. Details matter.

They still unscrew the valve core to release pressure but then instead of waiting for all the air to be out they do it with still a bit of pressure inside doesn’t help a great deal if you have a soft or tight side wall your better option is slide what spot you can off the bead then lathering that section with tyre lube and from there move about an inch around and do the next spot

@@jacobcollins1126I’d say best bet is just to be as close to the metal ring inside the rubber on the bead Sidewalls can tear if the tyres been run on flat Always best practice to try and get inbetween the face of the rim and the bead

@@tomoneill2645 it is yes however like old mate above said you get soft sidewalls that just wanna pop back over as I explained you move the tire off the bead and lather that section in tyre lube soap whatever you use and slowly move around the rim

@jacobcollins1126 Yes, I was speaking specifically about the air pressure. Sometimes, I put the air chuck and pressurise a tire to 50 60 psi just to break the bead on MotoMasters tires specifically. Just cause the side walls are so extra soft they'll always flex b4 the bead on many motomasters.
