Hi, my name is Mario. I’m an old school Japanese car enthusiast and Japan traveler!
In this channel I’ll be sharing some of my ongoing car project builds, some automotive photography shoots and videos of car events.
Please support the channel by checking out my online store:

I have plans to live in Japan again, I’m currently awaiting to hear back from the JET Program 2025! I love all things old school Toyotas, I currently own my beloved AE86 (for nearly 20 years), my awesome 1974 Toyota Corolla mango TE27, an ongoing project 1975 Toyota Corolla TE31 and a newly acquired 1985 Toyota Van. I hope you will join me on this journey!
Thanks!!

TE31 l Transformation Part 1
This has been a long time coming. I bought this car during the pandemic and what was meant to be a one-year project quickly turned into a long four-year delay. Before I bought this car it was hard parked for a very long time. I unfortunately have the bad habit of buying too many cars which kept delaying the progress of this project. What you see in this video is a compilation of four years worth of work. During those four years, I bought a super cool 1974 Toyota TE27, a 1969 Datsun 510 Wagon, and a 1985 Toyota Van all of which were also project cars! On the upside, this car is 80% done now, the next video will focus on the drivetrain and getting back on the road after so many years. Stay tuned to see what happens next - I promise the next video won't take as long to complete.

Do it in a Datsun l 33rd Blue Lake Show
มุมมอง 2.4K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, I do a walk around the 33rd and final Blue Lake Show in Portland, OR. This event brought out some of the best Datsuns in the PNW. I'm glad I was able to join - it was a great show. The Blue Lake Show is will sorely missed. This event will move on to Orchards Cars & Coffee - let's see what next year brings. If you haven't yet, please like and subscribe. And please consider support...
Datsun 510 restomod + Powerland 2024
มุมมอง 2.2K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, I begin the building process of my newly purchased Datsun 510 wagon. I bought this new project car from my neighbor, I definitely wasn't looking for a new project but it was too good of a deal to pass it up. This is my first Datsun and the best part of owning a Datsun is the community that comes with it! I've made a lot of new friends and have really enjoyed immersing myself in t...
TE27 l Episode two and 75 years of Porsche
มุมมอง 182ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I add bumpers, and new wheels and give the TE27 a much-needed wash and polish. I also attend a local 75 Years of Porsche Car meet. I'm a diehard Toyota fan but Porsche is the one non-Japanese brand that I can see myself jumping into. I especially like the vintage Porsches. Oh, and I also give my AE86 some love, during covid I bought a Seibon Carbon fiber hood and J-blood headligh...
TE31 l Update: paint job & Old School Reunion Pre-meet
มุมมอง 162ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I visit the Old School Reunion Pre-meet up in Washington. Seeing the 2000 GT in person was such a beautiful car worth the drive. Recently, I've spent most of my time and money on my TE27 & AE86, plus saving up for an upcoming trip to Japan. So, unfortunately, work on the TE31 has been slow going. It is now painted at least and will slowly but surely make its return. Stay tuned!

I just got a wagon too. Have a two door and four door dimes. Your wagon is in better shape than mine.
@@algodel9246 most wagons I seen getting posted for sale seem to be abandoned projects and completely neglected. It seems that most people would rather spend their time and money on the two door and neglect the wagon given the option. That’s really too bad
@@Save.the.legends It is. Always enjoyed wagons, finally able to have one. Lots of work, so far enjoyable!
Hi I have a 1990 Mighty Max ive been working on. I love the look of your build and wanted to use the same wheels set up you have. Im not planing on dropping my truck and dont want to use spacer either. Do you think I can still fit the rims you are using without spacers? And what size tires did you go with ? I would really appreciate any info.
i would buy your wagon👍🙂
@@johnnydatsun2730 currently not for sale - I haven’t even owned her for a year! If I end up moving back to Japan next year - that may change however

What you could of done to get the control arm bolt out easier was to turn the steering wheel all the way to the opposite direction.
