My dr saying same thing for me but i cant believe it because my baby has been fine all the way through pregnancy and at 37 weeks they found my baby head and femur was quite small and growing slowly i guess and i was so shocked i didn't knew what to think or say. This happened last week my dr suggests for me to go specialist and check if nothing just got mixed up wrong by the sonographer! Its funny because my baby has been fine and all of a sudden when i had just 3 weeks left i get this news! Its shocking but i am waiting to go to specialist first to see what they want me to do but i do not wanna get a induction 😣😭 i just cant handle that much labour time with induced i heard its more painful to natural labour i also have 2 kids and i never had no problems with them thats why i cant put my head around this im always feeling my baby movements they always strong and she pushing down in my pelvis now and again through the day which i think shes doing that with her hands trying to escape

Congratulations! I am 35 weeks now and my baby is borderline IUGR. Did your doctor up your iron supplement and tell you to eat more red meat/protein? I just want baby to bake longer so I am constantly eating.

Thank you for sharing! There is a serious lack of IUGR labor and delivery experience videos out there- I have been thinking about sharing my story on TH-cam, also! I had my IUGR son back in August 2021. I share a lot of similarities with your experience. My son was 5lbs 4oz, too, funny enough! Being induced is so exhausting. I wanted an unmedicated birth, but after 18 hours of labor, no good sleep, and being stuck at 5cm for hours, I couldn't take it anymore and got the epidural (which was only working on half my body but it was something!). Glad to hear that you and your son are doing well!!
