@@GaspHQ I havent tested if that room would load but the more important issue is there is no way you make it to that room within the 30s time limit

to get into the glitched state you have to jump and riposte on the same frame and then we can ladder warp Im happy you found it interesting :)

Hi this is a ladder warp performed by doing the parry walk glitch where you riposte and jump on the same frame and you are able to walk around at the y level. by running into the ladder for a certain amount of time when you grab the ladder you can warp to how far you would have ran if there were no walls allowing me to skip the freja boss fight. yes you can use it for similar stuff like ds1 but it is much harder to use and we haven't found anywhere where is can be used more effectively than the current skips there are also very few places where deathcams are even possible

@@doom3382 I just started this game as well never finished the dark souls series so I thought to give it a go starting with ds2 and see why it’s hated but I like it so far and the music is amazing too

@@eduardolimashadowks hahah thanks its a pretty cool skip unfortunately it's too inconsistent and difficult for how much time it saves for runs atm but hopefully one day :)

aww thank you, this is the fastest glitchless route there are a few routes that are faster using glitches. If you are just starting I reccomend killing more enemies in amana especially close to that last fog gate before the 3rd bonfire. ​@@doom3382have you tried the dlc route?, i dont know the name of the route, it seems that it is the fastest, where you go to the first dlc i think(? (Btw ty so much for the advice on amana it worked, now suffering veldstadt)

@@fsalinas225 Glad I could help. yeah the dlc into 5 rottens is the fastest rout but requires a frame perfect glitch called 17k which im not really interested in griding but it is the faster route for sure

Hahaha, thanks. Took a long while to find any set up that was remotely consistent but after a few hours of practice its not the worst but still nowhere near consistent enough for runs

Nvm I got a baby jump mod working it feels consistent now

@@souls2434 Hey sorry for not replying sooner yeah its a pretty common spot for baby jumps well-done on finding and integrating the mod :)

normal jumps with the butterfly set dont work for this skip however a new glitch found with the set called a "moon jump" where you equip the set and jump at the same time result in a much larger jump which makes this very easy see this video as an example th-cam.com/video/SwPHDb8Zrn4/w-d-xo.html

Dark souls 2 isnt very pc intensive to maintain 60fps and it's still a fun run a slightly lower fps. Thank you tho I had a lot of fun with this one :)

yeah hes great he came up with the set up for a kill sinner as fast as possible speedrun. I was merely trying to refine it and make it accessible to more people

Hard to say without too much information. You could post a video to your account and I can have a look. But in general this is a very difficult skip, most likely you are either jumping too late or too early (most likely too late) but its a very precise skip its gonna take you a while to get used to the nuances. If you make a vid of a few attempts pls reply to this and I will have a look and try and help you in your comments :) Good luck

@@BorsPepsi mmm yeah I mean its still possible with mouse and keyboard cus its just holding a direction but that could be the issue

Lol yeah that's fair, it's a pretty hard jump and most speed runners aren't incorporating it yet but it is technically faster so eventually people will be doing it

haha, yeah that jump in Heides is pretty eazy bu you can get som weird collision memes that eat you jump. People talk about how bad ds2 movement is but there is a lot of cool parkour you can do in this game
