Hey there, I can totally relate! If the footage is shot well, using auto can yield great results and save time. My example took a bit longer than usual because, when explaining things in a video, I like to take my time to ensure the viewer understands each step. Personally, I prefer correcting manually, then pasting the attributes to connected scenes and fine-tuning them as needed. I checked out your channel-great work! You’ve got some really nice videos there. Thanks again for the comment, and keep up the awesome work!

@ thank you our vimeo showcase has the full episodes it sure is challenging with four or five cameraman all in different areas on a body of water shooting with different cameras to try to make all that look really good a few of them really know what they’re doing and you can click AutoCorrect all you want to and it makes no changes because their stuff is set so good but the other one’s not so much… Thank you for replying and I agree with you on get one seen right then copy and paste the attributes it’s just that my scenes are always different. I’m going to have to learn more about the coloring though. I’ve seen dramatic impact when it’s done correctly and a few times that’s even been done by me almost by accident I guess lol I don’t understand on curves. Pick any color white blue red or green the line starts in the bottom, left corner and ends in the top right corner I don’t understand where or what that means. I can click anywhere on it and make an adjustment, but I’m not sure what that line means. It isn’t like the top is the top of your scene and the bottom is the bottom of your scene. I don’t find that to be the case like I said a lot to learn channels like your help a lot thank you.

@@EliteFishingSeries color correction is always a struggle. Every scenario presents new issues.

@@ProfKlaus one thing that causes us the most grief is the fisherman (our subjects) who are fishing to win thousands and thousands of dollars, like to fish into the sun as they’re spotting the fish throwing too them in super shallow water that is real clear… so they fish into the sun to help hide themselves from the fish or so they think… Lol, So a lot of times our cameraman are shooting into the sun with nothing but the angler standing there to break it up a lot of dark faces and bright backgrounds… :(

Thanks for the compliment and also for telling me the story of your Grandfather. I used the picture from Wikipedia since it was listed as public domain and “unknown author”. It’s impressive that you discovered my little video and reached out! I’m sure Jumbo was likely frustrated by the situation of being paraded about and being stuck in a cage most of his life. I will try get to that. However if you are in a rush and looking for an XLR mic of this kind, I would go with the Melo. I was impressed by the sound as well as the build quality of the mic. Its sound is very natural out of the box. For the price point and what you get, it’s worth it! If you are looking for a USB mic, then I would consider the USB AT2020 version.
