Not gonna lie man some of these aren’t even that bad because they’re specifically designed to stop you from running past every enemy to get there, though usually it’s DS2 because of the lack of fog wall invulnerability. I’d argue stuff like Manus in DS1 and Rennala are worse because it’s literally just wasting your time by making you run for like a minute with no obstacles. God don’t get me started on the 2 minute Seath runback. Whenever DS2 slaps three enemies in a small hallway in front of a fog wall I go “yeah guess I’m killing these guys first” instead of trying to continually go through the door they’re standing in front of. Same with Iron Passage, saw the guys that slow you down and the impossibility set in so I just settled in for some long runbacks where I have to kill everything.

Seath was the last of the four I took on so he ended up being one of few bosses I got on my first try. No runback for me ☺

Tbh the ancient dragon wasn’t so bad because if you kill the 4 knights and 12 times you can get there without anyone attacking you

Majority of the runbacks comes from DS2. Huh, suddenly all those negative comments about DS2 make sense.

I not long beat the ancient Wyvern and Nameless King, and without watching this video I probably would have still been trying to fight it lol

If you hate ancient dragon you should know that on the ps3 version every attack he does is a one shot. The only way you can survive it is with a ring that negates some damage when you have your back turned to the attack, but a fire attack from a dragon in ds2 means you'll get stun locked and die regardless so there is no point...

So just all of dark souls 2 basically!

I've 100% all soulsborne games, expext the DS2 dlc. Videos like these make me happy about that choice

My gf is currently playing the fromsoft games for the first time, I was gassing up logarius and she proceeded to beat him first try, pummeled him in a corner so bad he never even went phase 2, I was a little bummed she didn't get to see the second phase but also very impressed
