This is a video of a scenic drive from Loch Beg Bridge to Salen on the Isle of Mull. Ignore the date & time (operator error) - this was shot a few days ago in December 2024 on a cold and rainy day. But that doesn’t spoil the beauty of the place.

Looks scary at many times normal speed - but, this was just a normal commute from Yorkshire back to home in the Scottish Borders. It's M1/A1 pretty much all the way - apart from a quick diversion through the Tyne Tunnel as traffic was heavy - oh, and a diversion for a chippy tea in Eyemouth.

This must be one of the most picturesque roads between East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. We pick it up at Gifford, and drive over the Lammamuir Hills to Whiteadder Reservoir - then follow Whiteadder Water to Chirnside. This road is featured as part of one of the routes in the "Biker's Britain" motorcycle tour guide.
