Well done!!
Very handy tool!!
The most thought put into a manhole lid ever!
That step block is sweet. Is it shop made or manufactured?
@@hilltopmachineworks2131 it’s manufactured, it’s super cool
@@smalltownmachineshop6860 What brand?
Nice!
Nice! If it weren't for that pesky 'S', you could nearly keep the tread pattern!
Something like that probably wouldn’t work very well in Blacksmithing would it? I guess maybe for one specific task like working with flat or something?
Great solution to a problem. Saves money, reuses existing resources, and saves time.
Nice project. I have been thinking of doing the same thing.
Looks more like grinding to me
Adding a cnc controller to a mill would allow you to mill off "sewer" and engrave "water". Just a thought.
It’s a whole lot more involved than just adding a CNC controller. You’d need to replace the lead screws with ball screws and add stepper motors to all the axis you wish to control etc. etc.
@@grntitan1 Not really. I put a CNC controller on my clapped out Bridgeport 20 years ago. It's plenty accurate to do a job like engraving a manhole cover and cutting a circular pocket. In fact, I converted it 20 years ago this year (2025). I just added last year a MASSO G3 controller. It has a conversational wizard that will allow me to mill off the surface, engrave "water" and cut a circular pocket in the manhole lid..all without making any G code.
I think it would have been a whole lot faster to just floar that whole floor that or R-Dex. self leveler. Maybe you get paid by the hour and you want to play with that toy in the video then you doing great lol
Always great….
spot on tutorial best be safe than sorry
Cześć Adam.
Excuse me friend, what kind of plastic is the rod?
I really need to get this done ✅✅✅👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Nice to see some updates.
I went over to Cody's channel some time ago. Very creative getting jobs done with sometimes less than ideal circumstances. He seems to have the drive and optimism to be a success in 2025.AL B.
Congratulations on the plans. I hope they work out the way you plan. I understand trying to juggle it all. Keep it up
Sounds like you got a good plan rocksteady my friend
A shop will never be large enough!
The shop updates are great..but doesn't beat footage and walk-throughs of actual machining and repairs.
Nice machines, good to know they will still be put to good use.
Glad 2025 is shaping up well for you Adam!
I like it man ! ---Doozer
32 and a half tons.....Wow.....Your house doesn't weight that much.........Hell, Kansas City doesn't weight that much.
Exciting things coming up for you!
Umbelievably grateful for the comet, solberga, and all the help you've given me. Super glad I could help you get the vertical K&T, that machine should definitely get some work done
Enjoy your videos
I wish I had the room for all the machines that I want, but I understand. I've had to do that myself. Glad you found a home for it
Thin the Hurd, lol 😂. Need to do that myself..
A guy's gotta do, what a guy's gotta do.
I got the MMA180. For the price you cant go wrong.
43 years as a mechanic & I'm always learning something about spark plugs 👍 _Off Topic (almost): I had DENSO plugs that went bad from below freezing Interstate driving. 20 years ago my Bosch Platinum +4 shattered in very cold weather._
Thanks for the great review
Saludos desde Ecuador South América, una pregunta al colocar un motor en serie a el convertidor aumenta la estabilidad de la tension electrica? Y mejora el torque en la carga?
I bought the vevor plamza cutter a few months ago and must say I'm impressed with it for 189 bucks can't beat it, great review Adam..
Stinger looks to be 'ok'. Ground clamp looks like it should be used as a chip-clip, and not a ground clamp. I definitely like that it has "more efficient sausage making" as it states in the Amazon advert.
Wow, good price and easy to store and easy to carry for those small jobs.
@@Motorizeify for sure
Hey Adam. Just a reminder that I would really like it if you would do a video where you talk about your hammers, and one where you talk about your hacksaws. Thanks
@@footpusher6405 I can do that
I didn't expect the low price. tHanks for the video
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals it’s very low considering what you get
Valuable Patina
You are the first person I have run across with content on multi motor mill and a vfd. Currently working on a similar setup! Thanks for the video!
Excellent advice!! Those cheapies burn up quick,😅
Have not seen one like that.AL B.
That is one sweet vise.
Looking great Adam, Paul in Orlando
I think I figured it out. I believe it's part of a (possibly snap-on) armature cutter hand lathe
Interesting tooling. Sometimes free tooling can take you down a rabbit hole. I would go with ER40 for your HBM and Drill press. Less of a headache once you get a master arbor.
For a moment I thought it was used to reload shotgun shells. Ive seen similar only made from brass, and released opposite of this model.
