Soil Training and Research Studentships Centre for Doctoral Training

As an active part of the Soil Science Community STARS CDT is an exciting consortium consisting of 8 UK institutions providing 22 PhD studentships. Funded by NERC (grant ref:NE-M009106-1) and BBSRC, STARS is a collaboration between Lancaster University, Bangor University, University of Nottingham and Cranfield University working alongside top UK research institutions including The Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, The British Geological Survey, Rothamsted Research and The James Hutton Institute.

STARS draws on its wealth of soil science research alongside extensive academic and strategic links, to deliver a variety of learning and insight videos via this channel.
