Polycarbonate lenses are even more impact-resistant and are often recommended for active individuals. *Trivex* lenses provide excellent optical clarity and are lightweight. 11/20/2024 most quality frames ie: Maui Jims, Oakley etc.. single vision add 150.00 to the 340.00 frames (polarized) so Total $490.00 plus tax/shipping OR for *Progressives* add 300.00 to the frames prices of whatever... Normal total $550.00 to 650.00 Quality frames as low as $180.00 with Trivex Polycarbonate single vision = 180+150 or $330.00 + tax/shipping. -just sayin

For people with extremely high prescriptions, is it unheard of for people to split the powers between contact lenses and a pair of eyeglasses? Seems like a funny thing to wear both contacts and eyeglasses at the same time, but my theoretical mind thinks there might be specific cases where that might be the best option. I am curious if that actually happens in the real world.
