My Hysterectomy Recovery TOOK A SURPRISE TURN
In this video, I share an update on my recovery 11 days post-hysterectomy. While I’m still working on regaining my stamina, I’ve encountered an unexpected complication-an allergic reaction to the surgical glue used to close my incisions. I talk about how this has impacted my healing and how my body is responding to the recovery process.
Everyone recovers at their own pace, and for me, day 11 means still feeling cramping and pressure when walking, needing lots of breaks, and even short naps to manage my energy. I also talk about my efforts to build back up to longer walks outside and learning to listen to my body’s signals as it heals.
If you’re going through a similar recovery or preparing for a hysterectomy, I hope this video helps give you insight into the ups and downs of the healing journey. Thank you for being a part of my recovery story, and I’m here to share every step of the way.

❤ thank you so much for sharing. I had a double mastectomy then I got implants then my implants capsulated so I said forget about it absolutely nothing not only did my breasts define me as a woman, but it defined me as a mother at one time and I feel like a part of me is missing, literally and figuratively years and memories Good and the bad I’m still grieving for them, but I have to be grateful that I also have the opportunity to have that moment to have a beautiful healthy child and to be able to watch her grow that’s priceless. I hope your surgery goes well and you get pampered all the way through because you absolutely deserve it.❤

I’m 47 and still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. Some days I quilt, some days I paint, some days I study tarot, and that was all after I got sick of doing photography for 20 years. These videos are refreshing and most definitely a needed element that we need more of in the day to day. I learned so much about tarot from you. You are an incredible teacher and anything you choose to bring to this world has the potential to come to fruition as you appear to be quite gifted in that way. I look forward to more.

We have very similar stories. Thank you for the kind words. I have put the tarot down for the time being, but who knows, I may pick it back up at some point.

@@itsbonniechristine I’ve put tarot down multiple times and when I’d come back, there was always a new direction I’d go in. I am currently studying astrology to understand tarot even more. I am finding that the deeper I go, the more synchronicity is happening and my psychic senses feel more open. However, I haven’t picked up a camera (except for my phone) for almost 3 years now. I think my photography is what led me to other creative endeavors that are more in alignment with where I am meant to be now. Perhaps tarot has done the same for you. I don’t know if you have it, but as someone with ADHD, I truly feel those who have it are not meant for just one thing. I have always felt we need multiple, interconnected skills that we can weave in and out of to keep us satiated. It can be difficult to do when the world around us is not programmed to work like that and we are taught we are supposed to pick a lane and stick to it.

It really can and that is when we have to reset and get back in touch with why we started in the first place.
