hi! i take train from leamington spa to maryleborne - with railcard discount cheapest return tickets are around £25. in first year i took the train from coventry to euston which was cheaper - around £15?

Love this!! I’m going to Warwick soon and slightly freaking out over the first weeks! Do you have any tips for new ppl? In terms of friends, freshers and academics?
congrats!! get to know your flatmates, really put yourself out there during the first couple of weeks and don’t be afraid to go to some events alone. joining societies (join abacus and wes 🤭)is also a super easy way to make friends! in terms of academics (not sure what course you do) , i’d say stay organised and keep on top of it- do the pre-lecture recordings and readings (if any), go to your seminars and lectures. they tell you at the beginning to not miss anything bc it leads to a downward spiral and i can tell you from experience it does 🥲 just do your best whilst still having fun!
Hey I’m coming to Warwick to do econ! If I wanted to do all my work on paper do you think that would be fine? I prefer working on paper than on a laptop x
hi congrats!! it should be fine, but probably more time consuming. i personally did maths + seminar qs on paper but the rest typed up just because it was quicker for me and it's easier to find topics by ctrl f ing. you'll need to work on a laptop for essays + group projects though!
