I want to be a counselor.

What is the pay for Case Worker? I am a teacher with a Master's Degree. I want out of the classroom. I have a Psych Minor but would train somewhere if the income is livable. Please record a follow up video on this so I can learn about the pay.

to be a teacher, you need another year after your BA or BS to earn some kind of teaching credential for K-12 teaching. Some states require a masters degree tp teach K-12.

so basically you can't get a decent job with just a bachelor's in psychology. After all those years of studying and that's all you get. Major regrets.

I live in California and I couldn't find anything to do with my bachelor's in psychology. I am job to job. Master degrees are definitely a requirement here in California. I think I will go to graduate school for social work and if not maybe move to a state where their are less competitive requirements. State jobs are hard to get too. You need to be bilingual and experienced. Plus black peoples applications are discriminated as well.

Teachers in Chicago schools are making 95k+ I currently work at a job where I see a lot of teachers income documents

Starting my BS in I/O Psychology next month and doing a fast track program for my masters. I mainly want to work I like the food stamps office, or anything for the state or government. Case manager positions would be good too

The pay is not a reliable stable pay unless its in a field that is not in psychology...you would need a masters degree in psychology to get something more stable.

Rehab specialist- substance abuse or mental disabilities mainly requires masters degree 5. lab assistant in psychology 6. career counselor - in my opinion i live in California so i personally can't because you need a masters 7. case management 8. child care worker
