Very Nice sir. All mantras are composed by Mahaguru Vedvyas in Rig Veda in 11 Mandalams. Apart from Voluminous Samihita and Brahmanam explanation etc. 1st Mandalam of Rig veda starts with Agni and followed by other mahapurushas and also suktams. They took some part of mantras into Yajurveda and they divided into different schools as per renderings of teachers i.e. ex Krishna Yajurveda etc. They took 1118 mantras of Rig Veda into composition of Samaveda mantras and rendering is different as music. Atharva veda contained all mantras which are not found in Rig veda and also prayoga shastram and Tantric practices. However our acharyas and upanyasakas dwelt their disbursement of veda essence into blind bhakti or blind rituals etc so that all people are loyal to sanatani. They dwelt more time on explaining their own experience and also dessicating every avtar of Narayan or shiva or devi without injecting essence of bhakti instead of seeding pristine bhakti into people minds. North people are having prinstine bhakti and loyalty to hindu gods because their proponents of vedas dwell only on god and loyalty to god only limiting the dissection of god to bhakti levels alone.

The title of 1.10.2 should be read as "Sliding to Udattam letter from an anudAtta letter"

Thank you Sir for teaching Vedic grammar.. however, i wish you could have pronounced Ved not Veda.. similarly Swar for swara, and Varn for varna.. we dont need to pronounce our indian words in western tones which adds unnecessary extra "aa" in most of our ancient words..

In today's Modern Bharat this knowledge should be taught compulsory to every Hindu child without taking his / her caste into account .It's really unfortunate that only particular caste, who considered themselves Pure Hindus ( which was Hindus worst stupidity ) kept this knowledge with them, didn't allowed any other Hindu ,treated them like animals called them Shudras ( which was again another Hindus worst stupidity )

Indian classical music traditionally used 22 Shrutis. Even in current music, all though we say 7 swaras, there are actually 12 swara sthana. Also, the music swraras were discovered using Veena using Shadaj-Madham gram calculation, therefore the traditional Swarasthan (as Hz frequency) were different than the tempered scale that is been used today even in Indian classical music. For example the Gandhar frequency in Vedic music would be different than it is today (even in Indian classical). Lastly, Indian music follows Murchana system which “relative”. therefore Dh-Ni-Sa is same as Ni-Sa-Re as far as swara distance matters. Also, we have variations of Nis and Dhas etc. so it changes when you use lower Ni.

There is a slip of tongue and in the explanation of Sruthi Maata and layam pitaa around 2.50 mins of the slide, there is a correction. Right pitching is Sruthi and this is mother. The laya which is rhythm is father. The words got erroneously interchanged while recording 🙏🙏🙏 kindly note the correction.
