Botswana Diaries- Visiting nearby places around Gaborone
Exploring places around Gaborone- Capital city of Botswana. It includes Mokolodi Nature Reserve, Kgale Hill and Mogobane Reservoir. Mokolodi Reserve is just 10 kms from Gaborone giving a glimpse of natural wildlife habitat. Kgale Hill is near Game city in Gaborone, which is popular among hikers for weekend morning hikes, offering beautiful view from the top of the hill. The Mogobane Reservoir based on Mogobane river is not frequently visited by many people, however its evening sunset view is incredible, where you can do your own braai watching the beautiful view.@DiplomaticDiaries

On the way back to Botswana from Johannesburg, a beautiful weekend getaway at Hartbeespoort Dam. Popularly know as Harties among local and is located at distance of 20 Km from Pretoria and 35 Km from Johannesburg. During my Trip to Johannesburg, visiting Mall of Africa and Sandton area is a delightful experience. Mall of Africa is one of the largest shopping mall in the region. However, many shops were closed being a holiday season, the mall is an empathic display of modern South Africa. Sun City- A luxury resort in South Africa near the city of Rustenburg. Crossed the border by road from Botswana and traveled to Sun city (South Africa). The road is full of lush green mountains with great scenic views. Sun City is made up of a number of themed sub-resorts with hotels on each, including the original Sun City Resort.
