Must have been a glitch... happened a couple of times then the issue disappeared. Take it to a Ducati Tech if it persists. However... the bike had a few firmware updates. An update may have solved the issue. Also had a potentially 'Fatal' fault... had intermittent power loss... not good when you are in the middle of a turn at an intersection... after many times telling the Techs that the bike had total power loss on numerous occasions, they put the bike online with Ducati in Itally... they eventually discovered that it was an accelerometer fault. All was good after the accelerometer was replaced... I no longer have the MS... oh how I miss her... 😢

Blaine Potskin ---> You have to twist loose the plastic plate in the light base. At times they can get stuck... so ya gotta be persistent with it. It will eventually give way. ✔

Gustavo Moreno... I had a throttle issue with my MTS. Was only getting partial throttle intermittently as if the bike was in a 'Safe Mode'. It turned out that the Accelerometer unit was faulty. Had the Accelerometer replaced under warranty... Nary a problem since. Have not had any DSS errors for quite a while... possibly a Firmware flash corrected the issue...

Nick Wood --> Yes, bad tube(s). My AC30 was a floor model. Unsure how much use it had, or how it was handled... Read online that a 'crackling' noise is the result of a bad tube(s). Replaced all 7 tubes. Four 'matched' Tung-Sol EL84's, and 3 Tung-Sol 12AX7's. All is good now... ✔

Thanks for the follow-up. My AC30C2 is 18 months old. One of the tubes went harmonic after a year, so I replaced all with Tung Sol's. It might have been in my head, but I thought the sonic character improved a tiny bit. However, a few months later, and my amp is starting to make these sorts of sounds. Right now it's random and not very loud... I think its happening more when I first turn on. I'm wondering if I'm going to end up having to replace them again sooner than expected.

@@Ducati_Dude No it's still working fine but to be honest I haven't used the amp much in the past 6 months. I got a Kemper and never looked back!

@@Dartheomus See my other comment for posible explanations. Hint. After tightening up tube socket pins we always coat the pins on tubes [very lightly] with deox or Nolox. These products help to limit corrosion [the all-time worst enemy of high-voltage pin-type connections].

gregorski1987 --> Sorry to hear you are giving up on Ducati. All the issues have been sorted out on my '15 MTS. Purchased a 4 year extended warranty. Hopefully there will not be any major issues after the EW expires... ✔

It's actually new covers. I purchased new driver/passenger seats from Ducati. Stripped off the stock covers, and installed the Tappezziria covers. The new covers have some extra padding of their own, but doesn't help much... still gets hard after a while. However, I use an AirHawk seat cushion so it's not an issue for me...

Hey Jon... my '15 MTS (14,200km) has no unusual vibes... very, very smooth. Ride quality is Perfect... Awesome handling. I've had other issues with her (all resolved), but H&RQ Is absolutely bang on... ✔✔✔ Yes, you should expext the same smoothness from your MTS... ✔

Bruno... The GPS mount is a 'Navihalter'. I purchased it from navihalter.de in Germany. Approx 140$ CAD. However.... orders are not being processed at this time as a result of a serious traffic accident... so the Website reports. Too bad... it is an awesome product and puts the GPS in the perfect viewing position. Hopefully Navihalter resumes taking orders shortly...
